Great service and delicious foods. I was excited to see that they offered foods that were gluten free.
I ordered the gyro omelet and it was superb. I highly recommend it to people who tend to choose this sort of meal. I didn't stop eating until there was nothing left. It couldn't believe how easily it went down.
The coffee was really yummy too. Some places provide a weaker brew, or even stale/burned. Either they get enough business or they chose a great roast and have great brewers. I can't wait to make it here again.

It's a small place and we got the last table and I was glad we did. I ordered Shepherds Pie. It wasn't, imo, the standard Shepherds Pie. It was more a hamburger style gravy (more gravy than hamburger) with mashed potatoes on top. But it was good. And the bread that came with it was fresh baked bread that was good as well. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich and liked it, especially complimenting the bread as well. We came back later for dessert. The pieces of cake were huge but the carrot cake was getting stale and the coffee was lukewarm. They did bring us a fresh pot when we asked, though. And the chocolate cake was fine.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon, and had to wait a few minutes to seat ourselves; it was packed! That's always a good sign.
Watching entrees come out for other diners, everything looked wonderful. Another good sign.
The menu is smaller than many other restaurants, which is nice. Smaller menus typically mean better food quality, and we weren't disappointed.
We will definitely be going back!

Exactly what you would expect from an All American cafe. The food is good, not too salty. A touch on the greasy side for some things but that's usually what Cafe food is. Good prices, friendly helpful staff, cozy dining area.

I use to love this place but I feel compelled to share my experience today. Our waiter wasnt very welcoming and he took down our order wrong. When we got our food with meat in the pasta (which we asked for without) he rakes it back and just plucks the chicken out, but if you are a vegetarian you know that's not the same as making the dish without pasta. We decided to go so I asked another waitress for a box for my meal and as she took my dish back to the kitchen, I heard our waiter exclaim to her, "what's wrong now?" He was very rude and unprofessional. Thankfully we weren't charged for the meal. I don't like uncomfortable situations, so when something like this happens I feel it's important to share. I wonder if it was because of new management.. might still try again another day. (Also feel like it's important to add that it was not that busy, another factor on why he shouldn't of gotten our order wrong in the first place).

Great food. Great staff. Breakfast is very underwhelming though. Always loved their lunch and dinner menu. We've always had such great food there that we had really high expectations for breakfast. Those expectations were sadly not met.. not a lot of options. High price for small portions of just okay pancakes and eggs.. will continue to be a lunch and dinner customer. Their open faced hot beef sandwich has my heart lol!

Love the food!!! It all seems to be made from scratch and with love. I've had the wild rice soup, the wraps, some breakfast items, and the way good grilled cheese. I haven't had a bad meal or even a mediocre meal yet.
The only things that are disappointing are the waitresses and the decor. It looks like a gross dive bar was thrown together as a restaurant. Hopefully they are remodeling soon. The waitresses are unprofessional and not very attentive. If they at least learned to smile it would be a drastic improvement. Maybe they need a pep talk?

I work in the food industry, which I realize makes me have a higher standard but this review is a fair assignment of our experience… I took my sons out for breakfast, we ordered the eggs Benedict and Ranchos… first they did came 45 minutes after ordering with no apology and luke warm at best m and burnt toast that I ordered extra…I asked the server to take the toast off and she brought me new bread that was so cold that the butter didn’t even melt…. Since the fuss was luke warm, I would give the food a 5 out of 10 and presentation and taste.
Then, to top off my expensive and disappointing breakfast, I get outside and someone is parked behind my car so can’t move and left me a note to tell me that I have to come in to ASK THEM to move their car because I made a mistake and didn’t see a tiny sign that indicated where I parked was the loading zone. It was OBVIOUSLY a mistake and what was this woman’s purpose, to embarrass me, shame me for making a mistake? There was an entire parking lot but sure chose to make her rude point… Regardless of her intentions, it was Unnecessary! It shows someone who’s is a control FREAK plus a lack of basic humanness…Obviously doesn’t care about customer service. Were she right? Yeah, I made a mistake but she was wrong in her actions! My lack of observation most likely came from just being sick for 10 days, this was my (our) first outing since and this establishment had come highly recommended… wow…I will NEVER be back to the corner stone café And have no problem spreading the word….
