It’s my favorite spot to hang out and enjoy amazing coffee and food in a beautiful and super chill atmosphere, surrounded by people making community in Downtown East.

I came on a Saturday at 2 pm - there were only a few open spots, but the atmosphere was lively. I usually like to study in places like this, so the noise level worked for me. I ordered a Orange Lavender Latte with Oat milk (they also had almond milk) and it was amazing, and wait time was less than five minutes.
In general the atmosphere and service here is excellent. The food is great, and the coffee is just as good. But, while the wifi worked on my phone, my laptop couldn't find it - and for studying that's somewhat important

Had a good experience at Northern Coffeeworks. I parked just around the corner in a metered parking spot. I was told there is no designated parking for the shop. Really enjoyed the Kenyan pour over they had. At 3pm on a Friday every table was taken so I sat at the bar seating. That atmosphere was comfortable. The longer I stayed the busier it got and eventually one of the seats next to me was taken as well. When it gets busy, the bar seating is a bit cozy. That didn’t bother me too much but may be uncomfortable for others.
Overall, this was a great experience with great coffee.

We had the "cabin breakfast", which was good, but the potatoes were a bit colder than the rest of the food. Cold brew coffee was very good! It was a bit pricey for the service provided (order at the counter, clear your table...).

Northern has been a favorite since moving here. Their prices have gone up, but the quality has stayed as high. Homemade biscuits + jam are a go-to. They also serve nationally known coffee roasters, like Intelligentsia and Ruby and Onyx.

I’m a recent transplant from Seattle, where I was spoiled for good coffee. This place could hang there. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a relaxing space

Love the case of pastries from Fruit and Grain. Wonderful coffee and friendly staff.

This place is in a great location and the food is pretty good. It's rather pricey and you need to pay for on street parking. Their macchiato is fantastic and I liked the Heirloom Tomato Sandwich. The staff is typically coffee shop level of friendliness.

This place was super hip. Twas a little spendy but they have great coffee and make good specialty espresso drinks. It wasn't too crowded with plenty of bar and table seating. There was a slight wait for my coffee but the taste and presentation was certainly worth it. I would definately go back and recommend it to my friends.

This place has a wonderful vibe. For me, It always feels relaxed, awesome staff, great music at a comfortable volume and one of the best mocha's ive ever had. This is currently in my top three for Minneapolis best mocha and coffee in general . A wonderful start to my today .Thanks!
