Such a cozy and charming little coffee shop! The baristas and bakers are friendly and talented! The ambiance is perfect for studying or a small meeting. There is a small library room that can be reserved ahead of time. (Psst... get there early before all the baked goods sell out!)

The baked goods are incredible. I love the scones and could eat their chocolate chip cookies for days. They know what they are doing with their coffee - my favorite is their honey cardamom latte. Awesome atmosphere - cozy lighting and plants everywhere. Best place on campus for students, professors, or anyone who loves great coffee.

Very cool place for me to chill and have a cup of coffee. Me and my friends come here everyday during summer to get coffee between class and we enjoyed our time here! Nice staffs, looks really cool inside. Sometimes crowded but pretty sure you will get a seat easily.

this is place is cozy, perfect for low-key study dates and meetings. there are plenty of dietary options for drinks, and a limited selection of bakery items if you end up coming hungry. the layout is unique and homey, it’s quite a gem for its size and location. staff are friendly and conversational, service is timely, there is wifi and plenty of outlets for those with electronics. i got a lot of writing (typing) done here for my undergrad, and i’ll always come back to re-experience that level of productivity. parking can be dicey, especially on busy nights on the university campus, so come prepared to hunt down a good street spot.

I walked in here with a group of friends after a basketball game at Williams Arena and found myself in a cute, quaint, comfy coffeeshop filled with comfy couches, unique rooms and very nice people! The idea behind remodeling a retired frat house into a coffee shop is a great idea and the whole place is rather cute. Drinks were good as well

This is the first coffee shop I have found in the Twin Cities that I truly enjoyed. It's in a cozy little ivy-covered brick building and somehow feels like a cottage inside. There is a fireplace, couch, and comfortable chairs and tables that leave enough space for people to work on their computers while others chat. Don't go for food, but the coffee drinks are nice. I had one called "eye of the tiger," which was espresso and chai. They had a good list of teas, too. I will be coming back soon.

Great concept behind the environment but too crowded

The best coffee shop i ve ever been. feels better than home to meetup with friends or study/work, very cozy. I liked the small room for interest groups meetups. Went there everytime i needed a quite place and a warm coffee that smells well.

A little more than your typical college coffee shop. In only one visit, it's easy to tell they do coffee right. Cafe Miel and other drinks that are often too sweet in other shops are spot on. Coffee is recently roasted and resultingly smooth. Top notch all around. Worth seeking out and stopping at.

One of my all time favorite coffee shops. VEGAN FRIENDLY!! Extremely cozy and comfortable. Unique drinks and food. Great lighting. Somewhere that feels great to meet with colleagues or friends, or spend time alone being productive or relaxing. The best coffeshop near the UMN definitely. My favorite drinks (I always love chai) have been the golden milk and lavender tea latte, and vegan gingerbread and a vegan orange and chocolate muffin.
