Bordertown always provides a great ambiance for studying and serves incredible coffee and treats.
Being close to campus, the cafe can fill up during the day and be a bit loud, so i suggest you bring headphones if you want to do serious study.

Old mansion atmosphere with a handy coffee and food service. Polite and professional staff. I'll be back. Parking is tight but worth the walk if you have to park in the garage a block away.

Def a college coffee spot (I’m not a student). Parking sucks (as expected). I loved the environment, seating, the staff (really friendly), and my coffee was good.
Wish they were open on weekends. I would def recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.
Great place to prep for any on-campus meetings.

I like the coffee varieties. It is a friendly place and crowded all the time.

Good drinks and treats in such a cool building! I love how they’ve kept the charm of the house. It is so cozy inside. Try their matcha with lavender- delicious! The rosemary chocolate muffin is great too.

Great tasting coffee in a really neat environment. Feels like you're in an old house. Very warm and cozy aesthetic. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Parking in that area of town is not the easiest to come by, but being on a college campus I don't think most people there drive a whole lot while on campus anyways.

It’s a cute small coffee shop. Definitely great if you want to study or have some quiet-ish work time. Staff was friendly.

Great atmosphere that's always cozy, warm, and homey. Library room can be reserved anytime for a private group meeting - my group has found this space the perfect size and very comfortable with couches, a table, and even board games. I had one poorly-made cappuccino, but every other drink or bakery item I've ordered has been delicious.

Wonderful place to study and meet a friend for coffee! Very cozy homey atmosphere probably because this hidden gem of a coffee shop used to be a sorority house! Plenty of seating and study groups can reserve the library table for meetings. My favorite place to sit is by the original fireplace. Local art displayed on the walls as well which supports local artists and adds bonus points!!!

This is a quiet-yet-lively, roomy and elegant space. I love the variety of seating arrangement, small tables and chairs, comfortable armchairs, bigger couches. Electric outlets. Large windows. One space is semi detached with a large work table for groups studying or meeting. Delicious hot chocolate. Beautiful cups. The atmosphere and the space are my favorites. It's also very close to a University of Minnesota campus so it's a nice crowd, too.
