Chocolate Moose Restaurant Company

They use pressed chicken for the chicken alfredo. I can get real chicken from the fast food down the street. ugh

this place is awesome i visit international falls a lot and have never visited without having something to eat at the chocolate moose. the food is great as is the service, i also love the cabin atmosphere it really fits the town. if you are i the area this is defiantly someplace that you should visit.

This was a farely good restaurant we stopped at after spending the day at Voyageurs National Park.

We got a Monte Cristo and a Reuben. We enjoyed both of them. I think I liked the Reuben a little more. The bread of the Monte Cristo was French toast which was really good.

I was disappointed by the fries that came with it. They were luke warm and stale.

There aren't a lot of restaurants in the area and this one got the job done.

It was an okay place, I wouldn’t go back though. The gravy on the biscuits was barely warm. The deserts were not worth it, we got the Milky Way chocolate moose cake and the lava cake. Was really disappointed in the fact that you can’t get a cup of chocolate moose at a place named chocolate moose.. just think that’s a little weird.

Definitely interesting flavors. Stopped on our way through town due to good reviews, but we must have gone on an off night. We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and a burger. The burger flavor was off from what traditional beef tastes like. The hot roast beef appeared to be just a chopped up burger patty on wonder bread drenched in one of the most inedible brown gravies I have ever tasted. The price for what we got was moderate. Had to dine here due to the lack of open restaurants after 8pm in town. I hope we had a fluke experience...

Could have been a lot better. Especially when you consider the outrageous prices on the menu. Service was so-so. Food prep needs work, namely a half-sandwich should be and always needs to be done as a full sandwich cut in half, period. Don't to use the lettuce to cover up the fact one piece of bread is used either, you might be able to get away with it a home with your family, but your customers should feel like "royalty" from the time they enter to the time they leave.

Waitress raved on fries, but they were not. Soggy limp fries were not good. Service was good and atmosphere was good as well. Food was eh...

They warned us that service would be slow at the door, but it was fine. The food was not very good. The poutine had too much in tasty gravy, the fries were not good and only had a couple cheese curds. The ribs were subpar. Too much barbecue sauce and the ribs themselves were very good. The chicken wings were the worst I’ve had. The kids meal and lava cake were good. We left most of it there. When the hostess was ringing us out she asked how we enjoyed it. I told her the same thing and she said that’s too bad. Won’t go back.

Good food, cold beer at your table and a very nice staff!

Amazing breakfast option! I loved the cranberry rice toast and bacon. My husband had the veggie omelette and thought it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
