Chicken dumpling soup was very salty and the fish special was over cooked! Two meals ($50+) I was really looking forward to the meal and left a bit disappointed. Normally there food is great but this time it wasn't. However the service was excellent!

The food was ok, but the service was very slow. The giant cinnamon rolls was the highlight of breakfast.

Good food. Good service. Stopped for lunch on our way to Canada. Food was hot. I ordered a burger, my boyfriend ordered breakfast, which is available until 4pm. Big parking lot with space to park a boat. Can’t go wrong.

They weren't busy at all and it still took a good 20 mins just to have our server acknowledge us, who wasnt friendly at all. Then some of our items were missing and honestly the food was mediocre at best. Will definitely not be returning

Had a nice lunch with family...during our visit to International Falls. Apparently prices have gone up due to inflation...that deters them from frequenting.

I can’t comment on the food because I never was served. I was seated and read the online edition of the newspaper and left. To add insult to injury a server was sitting in a booth 2 places away chatting with two patrons across the aisle. Food may be great if you can get served.

Bad food, passing sirloin as ribeye and absolutely no flavor, canned mushrooms, could only eat less than half, waitress never notice full plate of food, Bev ate one fried shrimp, again waitress never notice. No food standards here and poor waitress training. Highly recommend never to eat here.

I ordered grilled chicken with wild rice and garlic breadstick, there was no mention of bacon in menu for this item, first time - wild rice came with bacon and no breadstick. I asked for rice without bacon and missing garlic breadstick, they couldn’t make wild rice without bacon so they gave broccoli. Second time also no bread stick which i didnt say anything about.

Very friendly service and a clean place and a reasonable price for the food. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to have a good meal.

A nice variety of food for picky eaters. They have an extensive menu similar to a Perkins. I enjoy the restaurant atmosphere of an "up north lodge" with knotty pine decor and spacious booths. There is a large variety of local artists paintings and photographs on the walls, which I find simply delightful and also a nice gift idea or local souvenir. When we are in a hurry, we like to stop at the Chocolate Moose since we usually get seated quickly.
