I went into the bakery expecting to receive and pass along joy. To my surprise, I was treated poorly and given serious attitude about asking for my 8 donuts to be placed in box rather than one bag. It was also discussed with another coworker... In front of me. The two of them continued by mocking me as I was leaving because I told them to have a nice day since they didn't tell me to have one. thank you for ruining my day, I hope you don't do that to the next person in line.

Great hometown bakery. Picked up fresh bread for Easter. Can't wait to taste it!

Even though you may have to wade through a three-deep line of chartreuse snow machine jackets, actively ignore a late middle-aged follically-challenged male donning a MAGA cap, and overhear the petty sniping of female co-workers buying doughnuts for their "team", this salt of the earth ambiance only makes the enjoyment of the end-product that much more enjoyable. The care, craftsmanship and quality which are poured into these confections is readily apparent and the gustatory results speak for themselves. Due to lax competitive pressures here in the hinterlands, there is no need for this bakery to throw the kitchen sink into its recipes (cardamom, bacon, apple, smoked salt doughnut for $10 anyone?) and the lack of pretense is refreshing (although I hope this review reeks of it for some). I'll certainly be back to enjoy these delicious delicacies and perhaps show up later in the day sometime to try the savory options offered via the delicatessen. I only knocked off a star on my review because the coffee is not great by any means. It's sour, ashy, and is completely misaligned with the quality of the pastries. Dial this aspect in and this establishment would be batting a thousand in my book.

Super friendly service and a great atmosphere. We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and although the selection was fairly picked over 30 minutes before closing, we were still able to find some great items. Awesome space, awesome people. Highly recommended...we WILL be back!

Every time I'm in Cambridge I try to make it here for the fabulous baked goods. And the nostalgia! I was a regular when I was in high school because of how cheap the donuts were. It's been around forever, too, which makes it a classic choice.

I wanted a sheet cake with basic frosting to decorate myself. They did a lovely job, were on time with my order, and very professional! The cake was delicious!

This is a must go for anyone in the area. The bakery has been a long standing pillar of the main street scene. The doughnuts are fantastic and made the same as they were decades ago-- the bread is fresh and a value for quality breads and buns.

Awesome,pick your treat and sit down to eat. Also have lunch and relax. I really like the cinnamon rolls, huge and fresh. Stop in and see for yourself, so much to choose from .

Delicious bakery items for decent prizes. But a warning to coffee lovers--the only coffee they serve is poured from a Bunn drip coffee maker. It's a decent cup of coffee, but when most people read "coffee shop", they think latte, mocha, cappuccino...no such luck here.
Get a donut or have lunch, the food is tasty and the workers are always friendly.

AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG......Takes me back to the good old days when I went to grandmas and walked in the front door and just knowing my mouth and stomach were in for a treat. The fresh rolls, goodies, and homemade treats are SPOT ON. The ladies that work there have it dialed in and give you that AT HOME cozy feeling which I miss from back in the day. I loaded up a big box of treats and brought it to a business meeting out of town, and lets just say EVERYONE asked where and the heck I found these nummies at. I forsee people making the trip to Cambridge to visit Hermans if not for nothing else....GREAT PLACE...
