I absolutely love this bakery! Great hometown feel with friendly staff and delicious selection of donuts, pastries, bread, and cookies. I always try to make a stop when I'm home - and would say it's a MUST if you're in Cambridge 😊

Herman's bakery did an amazing job with our wedding cake. They listend to details and nailed it!! With the wedding being an at home backyard ,time was crucial. Herman's bakery offered to deliver, for a small fee. They showed up on the dot! Not a second late. Which made my day that much easier. Everyone enjoyed the day and the wedding cake.

The best part of Herman's is the local flavor. You get "Minnesota nice" here and some decent bakery items. Lunch fare is simple cafe food but hits the spot. Family friendly prices. If you want to hear the best Minnesota accents, this is the place. WiFi available, relaxed setting, clean and bright. It's Cambridge Minnesota's best kept secret.

They have delicious donuts, pastries, cookies, and breads. They also have soups, sandwiches and wraps as well.

Love this place. Great sloppy Joes. Great dessert treats. The gals behind the counter seemed a bit overwhelmed & frazzled. Would highly recommend to others. A good place to choose if you have a group of people or if your by yourself. Very clean facility & restroom.

After a long selection process I chose Hermans to be my Bakery venue for my wedding. All of the flavors and service promised I feel was not a 5 to me of what I received. When I first started the process, there was a decorator I worked with that I put every detail of my order with to her and we kept in contact for months. Nearing closer to my wedding date I thought it was rather odd I hadn’t heard from her. So I proceeded to reach out to no unveil. I went to location directly and found out she no longer worked there and there was no history of my HUGE order anywhere? That was disturbing at best! I had never received any call to introduce the new cake decorators or to say we have your order and just want to go over it and make sure that the new one knew what I was needing. Not a thing and I’m pretty sure that if I hadn’t went with my gut and went there I would of had a disaster on my wedding day. So I met with the new decorator and we went over the whole entire order all over again. I am an extreme details person and wrote every single flavor, colors, quantity, you name it down and even attached colored photos to every single one. The order could not of been any more clear. I am a former cake decorator myself and have been in the service field for 30 years. So maybe I’m expecting more than your average person but this was my Wedding. On my day the delivery was to be at Noon. It was after 1 and we had not received a phone call as to why they were not there or late or when to expect them or anything. So we called and then they didn’t get there until around almost 2. No where at anytime in our discussions was it mentioned that the cupcakes come not decorated. My set up was to be , set up the 2 cakes and we didn’t want any other bakeries out until that night after dinner service I was given wind that the person instructed she was decorating them on the spot and she was going to put them out. I had no one available at that time to organize that because the helpers were in the kitchen preparing for the meal. The flower colors and type I feel were not what I had asked for. I wanted pastel type colors and then some uncolored frostings. I have family who has food coloring allergies and was very specific on which ones That was not delivered. I cannot have Red frosting and there were 2 kinds decorated heavily with saturated RED frosting
I usually don’t ever say anything, but I feel I should Not only as a customers point of view but that the public needs to know that they have to follow up on everything. But also looking at it as constructive criticism. A learning lesson and maybe some training on customer service, attention to details, follow through, communication and etc

I am from out of town, but this stop is a requirement when in, visiting my friends! A great balance between good bakery, coffee, and food. Nice home town feel, love the staff, and always order stuff to bring home. I wish there were more places like Herman's. If you have or had great memories of your favorite bakery, make a day trip to Herman's. You will LOVE it!!!
