Typical experience is fast and friendly. Today I came through and the rain ruined their speaker box in the Drive-Thru. The poor manager, Kelly, was outside taking individual orders by hand (with a great big smile on her face) in the pouring rain! Now that's what I call customer service! :-)

Stopped by on a Friday morning for a decaf and breakfast sandwich. They gave me cream (which I did NOT order) and filled it to the rim (which I asked them to NOT do). So I had an undrinkable coffee which spilled all over my shirt as I drove to work.
I went back to replace the coffee and got some napkins + an apology. That was nice but I expected more. After all, they wasted my time and caused coffee to spill on my clothing. And remember this was as I headed to work, so time and clean clothing were both a priority. A coupon for 50 cents off my next coffee or a free cookie might have smoothed my ruffled feathers.
I contacted Caribou corporate about this using their website. Never heard anything from them.
This is too bad because how you handle complaints and problems can determine how loyal your customers will be.

The coffee is great, but today was the third time I have had to wait for service while the employees were having discussions. One girl was making an order for drive thru while the other three behind the counter were having a her animated conversation with each other while I stood at the counter. Obviously customer service means nothin here.
Lowering my rating today ... the barista making the drinks for counter was beyond rude. The lady in line ahead of me was refused a carrier until one of the order takers came and she didn't even label my drinks!!! I had to ask for a pen to label them myself. When talking about the customer ahead of me she clearly stated that she did not care.
Honestly, if you don't care, why get a fast paced customer service position?????

Have had better experiance at a Caribou Coffee. Normally at the one i stop at is busy and takes a while to get my coffee for that reason. I was excited to see i was the first and only one in line. Still took just as long becauss thw workers were too busy talking.

Green tea was okay. Although it being priced higher then it would be at a gas station, I often forget what Iâm paying more for? I went through the drive through, now the speed of service was standard but the customer service was well below. The person I gave my card to gave me the expression as if I was a unwelcome. Just took my card, gave me my drink and gave me my card back. In doing so, I said âthank youâ and got a quiet reply of âyour welcomeâ. Pretty sure if I said nothing, the only words that would have been spoken would be âthat will be $3â. I donât expect a âhow are you doing today or even a have a nice dayâ. (Small talk) A smile and thanks would be efficient, or at the very least smile at some point of the interaction. Itâs unwelcoming, and wonât bother again to waste anyoneâs time. Iâd personally rather just get a bottled ice tea at a gas station next time I want a refreshment.

Usually love Caribou, but today i ordered my hot pressed coffee, got back into my car and down the road, tasted it and thought not the same ... got to my location and look at it....NO milk! I know they were busy, but it's kind of an important part .

I've been through their drive-thru more than walking in but the few times I have walked in was mostly because the morning lines were long. Workweek mornings can be chaotic for all coffee shops nearby major freeways/roads but it's attitude and perseverance.
This team that I saw, was keeping their cool and i think training new folks. They called customers by name and made sure they were valued before during and after their order. Ultimately, I would avoid this specific location because of the sheer volume of business but I respect the teamwork and attitides they carry.
A lot of times it doesnt matter if they have the ability to make a good cup of coffee, the character of the workers is what lasts..

Today, I went through the drive through and accidentlly drop my debit card. The person at the window asked the person behind me to wait while I pulled forward and he spotted my card on the ground. Instead of me having to try and climb out of my car. He came around and picked up my card and was able to process my order. He was able to help me get through an embarrassing situation without any hassle.
I didn't get his name, but he was awesome. I always have great service and everyone is very friendly and passionate about their job!
