Coffee Pot

We were just driving through and came across this place. It was super busy for being an odd time in the morning. We had a very nice waitress and food was delicious.

Food is delicious, very reasonably priced, and comes out FAST. I love little breakfast diners like this! My fiance got lunch food, which he also loved! He said the burger he got was in his top 5 favorite burgers! (:

This place is great! Friendly service and a cute little diner. The caramel rolls are amazing! Buttery, caramely, soft deliciousness. The biscuits and gravy are BOMB!!! So good! Great hash browns too. Definitely check out this yummy little diner!

Hearty portions and reasonable prices.

I stopped in at the Coffee Pot based on a couple of Yelp reviews that were favorable. This was my first time using Yelp to find a restaurant.

This place has good service with an edge (intentionally snippy but funny waitstaff), and the food was excellent.

I had the Western Skillet, which is basically a scrambled omelet. The vegetables were fresh, and the potatoes were not your typical frozen potatoes. They were clearly fresh and diced to order. I was only able to finish about half of my skillet, which means the portion was incredible.

My niece ordered the pancakes, which were a stack of plate-sized pancakes. She only finished about 1/4 of the stack, and I had pancake leftovers for two more breakfasts!

In all, we enjoyed the experience, atmosphere, and the portions. If you ever need to stop in Alex for breakfast, this is the place to go.

Very good! Traditional breakfast and lunch place with lots of regulars that come in. Waitress was very friendly and good. Had French toast, loved that it was the traditional thick cut style bread and perfectly done! It didn't show up right away on MapQuest so had to look a little closer to find it.

Worst lunch I ever had ! Bought a chef salad w ranch dressing the dressing had no tast and was runny like milk.my husband ordered chili that was Luke warm and tasted like a canof kidney beans with some hamburger in it. Cost $19.36 will never go there again!!!

Great spot to stop by to have breakfast. Place has a home town feel, small and quaint. Food was great, service was also good. No complaints. One last thing food prices are below normal cost for food.

Good food for the most part. They really need to work on their soups & especially chili. Soups & chili taste like they're from a can. Friendly service & fairly quick.

Best service and breakfast we have had in a long time. Traveling through and lucky for us Perkins was closed. If you are traveling with a travel trailor the street behind them is a park. We parked at the curb and walked over.
