Such a great place for breakfast! Have never had a special or meal I didn't like. Love the variety...has something for everyone! Staff is great too...super efficient.

Today was my first time eating at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. My wife had ordered a meal for me and didn't when we received it, it had tons of cheese on it. We told the server that we didn't want it and she gladly took it away. We then got our bill and noticed that the meal was on there. I had approached the manager and was told that I should be responsible for it (even though they didn't give me the food to go, they just took it away). She then started saying that I should know better and I was at fault for ordering the meal. She then said I'm doing a one time courtesy and said it in a extremely rude tone of voice. The food was terrible overall.

First and last experience. Will never eat at this restaurant again.

Wonderful service here--I frequent this location every couple of months. The server was awesome and had great recommendations. The restaurant is small and has a family diner feel. I highly recommend getting brunch here or at their other two locations in Rochester or Farmington Hills. The wait on weekends isn't absurd like some other places can be. If you visit Recipes, I would definitely recommend the Southwest hash!

Solid carryout for breakfast. Got the smoked salmon hash and it was delicious.

Really nice spot to stop and have breakfast. The potatoes are very good. Only had the eggs, sausage, and potatoes. But it was all great. The wait staff was very friendly, and fast.

The food is very good. I had one of the best western omelets. I randomly selected this restaurant the day we went and I am glad we went and we will return.

I absolutely love Recipes in Troy. I love the homey enviroment and the ambiance they created. The staff are incredibly kind and the food is really good and fresh. I highly recommend this place to anyone. This place is truly one of my favorite places to go to.

Wild Bill omelet and biscuit covered with BlackBerry sauce were both great.

I've been going here regularly for the past few months and haven't had bad experience yet.

Over the years, I've been here dozens of times. The food is great; we always get great service. If you're looking for a something a little different for breakfast, they do have the classics, too. They also have specialty coffees, which is nice. It's a small, cozy atmosphere and can be pretty busy on the weekends.
