Recipes has the most delicious and wide variety of breakfast and lunch entrees. The specials are definitely worth an order.

Chicken and Waffles Benedict is highly recommended.

This restaurant is highly recommend when you are visiting Troy.

Recipes is an excellent restaurant! Between the service and delicious food Recipes is a place I regularly visit. The Neoguri Noodle is an excellent spin on a pho. Ask for Sharon she is the best!

I dropped in for takeout breakfast. Simple standard eggs, meat, potatoes and toast.
Got to my destination and checked my bag. No toast. Went back. And server brought my toast and blamed the kitchen. Got back to my office again and there was one piece of toast!
10 bucks and a hassle for free! Never again!

Iโ€™ve heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to meet some friends at the location on Crooks. Breakfast was pretty good but pricey. The thing that stood out is the place is in need of a paint job and the ladies room is beyond dirty. So much so that it made me wonder what the kitchen looks like!

First and last time going to this location. I have been to the Rochester location many times and definitely lower standards in Troy. Asked for a side order of biscuits and gravy out first. Came 1 minute before our meal and weโ€™re cold. My husband had the crab cakes benedict, the crab was old and fishy. I had the Benedictine, the chicken was old and tasteless, broccoli and mushrooms were raw. Our waitress never returned to the table to check on us. Had to walk to the front to get our check, $50.00 for inedible food. Definitely wonโ€™t be returning.

Delicious brunch place in troy neighborhood.
They have choices of all brunch options.
The taste is little milder but I loved it. The service is friendly with smile.
The coffee cup is truly bottomless (did not see bottom throughout our time in restaurant). They serve great lake coffee.
I tried stack of three strawberry and whip cream pancake... Yummiieee.

I would visit this place again to try different dishes.

For the price, the ingredients are subpar. The Hollandaise sauce tastes like it's made from an envelope that you purchase at a grocery store. Omelets are standard, nothing to write home about. Bland and tasting like flour, the biscuits and gravy is a simple white sauce with chunks of Polish sausage. The American fries are crispy all around, they were good.
