Have always loved this quaint little brunch spot ever since I was introduced to this place over by the Somerset Mall corridor, now well over a decade ago. They have amazing skillets, their crispy potato wedge style hash browns are fantastic, and always have a rotating selection of delightful sweet treats to choose from on the menu as well as many tried and true favorites.

Great coffee, too, I should not forget. This place will get you out of bed even with a hangover to make it here on time to order and eat - which you better hurry because they close up shop in the afternoon (I think at 3pm usually...maybe 4?)...LOVE THIS PLACE!

Heard of Recipes through word of mouth after moving to Troy, from a few different people, so we had to try! We've been a handful of times and are never disappointed. I tell everyone to come here! Everyone is friendly and service is quick. Food is always delicious with such a unique menu. Definitely one of my fav places to eat!

Good food, friendly employees and clean restaurant.

It smells like cats in here. And I Frye’s to call in my order an it was all messed up. I have been before an it was much nicer but I came today 10 minutes after the was open it took 31 minutes to get a sandwich to go that I called in an it was only 4 people sitting down. This was the start of a bad day. I hope an prey it get better.

Excellent. Light, fluffy. I had the Spanish omelet. Excellent. Tasty. Pleasant staff.

I had forgotten I visited this place! So a friend took me to this tiny place, and I thought.. Why are we going to the (it's a bit small) matchbox?? First it's a bit longer, not as wide, and they make up for it with the food!! This place is FANTASTIC!! So if you read my reviews how often have I given any place a five??? Let's just be realistic here, I'm from California, and I honestly don't like ANY of your eateries. They all seem to taate the same. But this little place stands OUT. The food is delicious, the staff attentive, and kind. I would given them a sixth star. Now we had breakfast in midday, but it was AWEsome!! I need to check them out again!

This place as good food and pleasant employees and good service. It always seem clean.Prices are average. Where they lost points with me is last time I was there I noticed they now have "No Camping" signs on the tables. I realize this is an annoyance for restaurants, however people go out to socialize as well as have a meal. I don't normally stay much longer than it takes me to eat my meal but occasionally I have when I've been out with friends or relatives. I think it's rude to make people feel like they are being rushed so you can turnover that table faster. That being said...It would be nice if people see there is a wait and they are done with their meal and coffee etc.. they should be courteous and get up. When you deal with the public you have to take the good and the bad. (UNLESS ITS OVER THE TOP BAD) I hope they rethink that sign.
If they feel a sign is a must...Maybe reword it to something like:
THANK YOU FOR DINING WITH US. WE APPRECIATE YOUR BUISNESS. WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR MEAL. WE ASK IF YOU SEE PEOPLE WAITING TO BE SEATED AND YOU ARE DONE WITH YOUR MEAL, AS A COURTESY TO OTHER PATRONS SO THEY CAN ENJOY A MEAL AS WELL, WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOU GIVING UP YOUR TABLE. THANK YOU AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.

Great hollendaise sauce, eggs over poached a little but its rare to get eggs cooked perfect anywhere. They have some great specials (strawberry cream cheese french toast), and wait staff is really good. Recommended to get there earlier than later on weekends.

Serving breakfast classics. The food is consistently satisfying. They aren't trying to reinvent the wheel but I've never been disappointed. They are always decently busy and won't seat you until your entire party has arrived.

Great dishes. Tried the salmon hash, chicken and waffles Benedict, Chuck wagon mixer. The sides like bacon and sausage are not spectacular. Clean and good service.
