They have the best loose leaf tea. I came up from Kentucky, where I live now. I just had to stop and get some, before going home.

My mother, sister and I had a delightful time here. We sipped gourmet coffee while waiting for a booth and browsing the little gift shop at the front. Then we had a lovely spot of tea with our soup, slaw, pasty, and tea sandwiches. We drove an hour to get there, and all felt much rewarded for our excursion.

Alice and Gemma and the gang here at the British Tea Garden always make us feel right at home and provide excellent food. I eat here at least once a week and it is a favorite for my wife and I. I feel like I always meet someone I know eating here.

Nice place friendly staff. A pot of tea could be A lot stronger.. Two tea bags isn't enough for a large pot. $9 for a ploughmans lunch.... I would have liked to have a piece of ham with it instead of a heap of pickle slices. The cheese wasn't very sharp either. And a crusty piece of bread or a crusty roll would be nicer than a ciabatta roll. The beef pasty was nice. Nice place but far from authentic.

Only wish there were not two different music sources playing. One source of music is enough.
Coffee and food is wonderful.

Good food and service. Sad to see the teacups are all made in China.
