I cant speak for the food or the tea since I was thrown out before I had a chance be seated or even order. Don't even think about walking in this place after 3pm on a Sunday even if you drove a hour and a half. Even though they close at 4. The manager will be quick to remind you on how wrong you where for even thinking about coming inn to try to take you mother for just Tea for here birthday. Apparently just getting tea is consider lunch. I understand they have to draw the line on when they will serve people but I walked at 3 not 10 till 4 and we just wanted tea no food no lunch. The older lady who is the manager was RUDE I did't even get to tell her why we where there before she basicly threw us out. I'll never come here ever.

British Pantry has wonderful lunches and unique gift choices. This is a very special little place in Tecumseh that I love to visit.

Having the British Panty in our local downtown has been such a gift. We walk there often from our house to enjoy a pleasant bite, a wide variety of teas, and their well-stocked gift shop. It's like stepping back into a simpler time.

Cute little shop with delicious spinach quiche and apple slaw.

Every young girl's or boy's dream of having the perfect tea party. Like from the menu of decadent foods and of course desserts & choosing wonderful tea blends. You can get the help you need, they make it so easy I have more time to shop. The prices aren't bad considering you don't have to hunt down an employee. How many times have you purchased a tea that you thought you or a special someone would love after dinner. Well I loved the snazzy name. No more nonsense, try it now and then take it home. These folks know their stuff, they can help you find your own personal blends. My Papa loves to go get his historical ethnic blends and candy from the old country, supplied with free history lessons. He whistles alot.

Cute little gift shop and Cafe filled with tea paraphernalia from tea cozies to full fine China tea sets. The main attraction is the wall behind the cash register filled to the brim with all sorts of loose leaf tea that you could imagine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very patient when you try to decide what type of tea you want to buy, they also make suggestions. The merchandise also includes hand crafted scarves, soaps, jewelry, holiday decorations, kitchen towels, cards, imported snacks, unbelievable scone mix (the same mix they use to make their scones in the cafe). There is also a cafe where you get fresh brewed tea, pastries, and sandwiches. The overall feel of the shop is cozy, warm, relaxing and small town boutique. It's definitely worth your while and a must for all tea enthusiasts. P.S. they also do phone orders for tea and will mail it for you!

An adorable shop with tea and lunch. Downtown Tecumseh is a great place to visit, too.
