The British Pantry Tea Garden Cafe

Just wow! Alice and Gemma, owners of the British Tea Garden, did such a wonderful job creating an incredibly special experience for the wedding tea party I hosted for our niece and her fiancé. I was planning this event from out of town, having not yet visited the BTG. Alice made it easy and seamless. From beautiful, elegant table settings to tasty tea and phenomenal food to gracious and impeccable service… it was simply perfect! Thank you, Alice and Gemma for helping me create a special day and memories for a lifetime. You are the best! If you’re in the Tecumseh, MI area… I highly recommend the BTG!

Omgosh this is the cutest & best place to eat . My first time in Michigan visiting with my sister and this is where she took me . I loved the people and the food . You need to go there if you live there and haven't been or if your visiting ♥️♥️♥️

And absolutely lovely spot for lunch and a beautiful little shop. Where you can purchase tea and many other items while visiting downtown Tecumseh.

I always love this place!!!! Best spinach quiche and apple slaw!! The corn chowder was amazing as well!!! Our server served with a literal smile!!! Not sure how anyone would ever give anything less than 5 stars!!! Love the owners!! They are from England so it feels so authentic!!!! The bon bon tea I had I had to buy some more to take home!!!!

This is a great place to have lunch or even just dessert. They have a very large selection of teas to choose from and two different types of settings. You can sit in the front near the window or have privacy in the booths in the back. Test f is very Friendly and helpful, especially when you know very little about teas. They have a showcase where you can see the different desserts that are offered. The shop is nicely decorated and even the bathrooms are themed. They have a room upstairs that can be used for parties and meetings. The shop is easy to find as it is located on a Main Street. There is a huge free parking lot nearby.

I love the British Pantry! It has delicious food, friendly service and is just my absolute favorite girly hangout! Five stars!

Such a gun place to get some food and great tea. They don't take reservations but it is definitely worth the wait and the drive. While you wait for your table, you are able to shop the store. Everyone is able to get their own tea choice.

Very fun cafe, and the sandwiches & tea were great! Like stepping into a different time & place.
