Been here numerous times. Born and raised in South Haven, so numerous trips here for donuts or breakfast when growing up. Last week when I was in town, I ate here for lunch for the first time. Had a Turkey panini that was very tasty. Great food and friendly service!

Best bakery in South Haven. English muffin bread is our favorite. Been going here for over 20 years. Definitely need to stop in if you are in South Haven.

Bakery is a 5 star. I go out of my way to get donuts here. They are large, tastey and priced well. Definitely one of my favourites and I highly recommend. 100%. Go in the morning as they sell out of a large amount of stuff quickly. The missing star is for everything that's not donuts. Their cookies are not good. Their restaurant is just plain bad. Get some donuts and coffee and enjoy life.

This is for the food not the bakery. We got breakfast and it was pretty eh. Not bad but it just seemed like a cafeteria in a museum or something. We could probably make same quality or better quality eggs.

I love this place. It’s a hidden treasure. I read the other reviews and have to say the employees in the restaurant were VERY friendly, I’m not sure why they would say otherwise, they even gave me advice on rock hunting in the area!!
I had soup, my friend had breakfast. Great value and oh so good. I will definitely be back.

I love the Golden Brown bakery, they have good breakfast and a great selection of pastries. My wife and I always love coming here for an intimate breakfast and a sweet treat afterward. The staff is very kind and polite, I definitely recommend the Golden Browb Bakery any day of the week.

Tara is always so nice and helpful at the pastry counter and the cinnamon donuts are the absolute best!

Wish we went somewhere else.
Visiting from out of town our party of 4 wanted a light lunch. Overall no one was impressed with the food. Two of us ordered BLT sandwiches with crispy bacon, however, even after sending it back it still was not even close to being crispy. Basic menu options I could easily make at home.
Temps outside reached 95+ for the day and we really wanted a place to come in from the heat and cool down. Bakery side was nice and cool but there was no seating. We ordered at the back area and since it was near the kitchen we understood why it was hot but figured since the bakery side was nice and cool the dining side would be as well. However, after paying and found a seat near the front of the restaurant we found it was not any cooler. We asked if they could adjust the thermastat but was told that was not an option. We noticed the wall thermastat showing 80+ degrees inside the restaurant. Miserable.

Custard filled long John's are amazing. My favorite since I was a child. The best part about the bakery? You walk into the past when you walk through the door. Slower, yummier, people visiting in the cafeteria instead of on their phones. The whole experience - 5 stars. I hope it stays this way for ever.

Charming place. They have a large assortment of Donuts, cookies, and rolls. They have great cinnamon rolls, cherry, and apple streusel. They put nuts in all their brownies, however, coffee very good. One side is bakery other side is sit down area. We will be going back there again for coffee pastry.
