Been going to this bakery for years. Really really good breakfast sandwiches and burritos too. I love the variance SH has to offer but Golden Brown will always be my go to. The giant cinnamon roll is a must.

If you love the smell of fresh baked bread just got on the bench outside this bakery cafe. Even better go inside and enjoy matching the smells to the flavors. Delicious delicious food. Classic, homey, cozy.

I always stop by this place imagining that it's going to be something, really special. A small town bakery, each item handcrafted with loving attention, each bite savored slowly because it's uniquely delicious...then I walk in, look at the mostly empty racks (I'm a late sleeper okay?!), buy my Long John, walk over to the dining area (where I'm never really sure if I'm allowed to sit or not?), glance around at the mediocre local art, and think to myself, "this is okay."

Best, most comforting food ever!!
Whenever my family visits south Haven we come here. It tastes like you’re in grandma’s kitchen again, but it’s only better. I really really enjoyed the scrambled eggs and toast. It was buttery, creamy, cheesy, and absolutely perfect. I always try to recreate them when I’m at home but it’s not nearly as good. They have delicious breads and desserts too. If you’re looking for a yummy dessert or filling breakfast, definitely come here, it’s truly a gem and a great start to your day.

the wait was longer than I anticipated, but the town was holding its yearly festival and had 10 times that many wandering their streets.
the food was very good and the harried staff managed to remain cheerful.

The cookies are beautiful but so disappointing to eat…bordering on inedible. $5 a cookie…Full of preservatives and you can taste them!

The donuts are exactly ok, like I can’t say anything bad about them, but they are expensive. Having mediocre products at high prices just seems obnoxious. I understand that donuts can get expensive but these are old donuts they get designer prices for. They are always busy and I will be dismissed but if you honestly believe these donuts are good (at these prices.) you either lack a sense of taste or you’ve never been anywhere else…
