Jolly Plate

My wife and I came here while we were in town for labor day weekend. It was a bit busy but we only had a short wait. We sat at the bar which looks at the kitchen area. Our server was friendly and fast. I ordered the chicken and waffle plate and my wife ordered the Jolly breakfast buritto and a coffee. My wife is always on the hunt for good coffee and enjoyed the coffee she got here. When it was time to leave, she was able to get a to go cup of coffee also which was nice to have. She enjoyed her food and I liked mine as well. The waffle was really good and had almost a surgery crisp to it unlike other waffles I have had before. After reading all of this, you may wonder why only 4 stars? That comes from what we were able to see from the kitchen. Various people were not wearing gloves and handling finished food with bare hands. I partially would not mind this but seeing people wipe their foreheads as if to wipe away sweat and then get a handful of chips with the same hands, it's a little bit on the gross side.

Tried eating breakfast here on a busy, rainy Saturday morning. Knowing we were in for a wait, we walked in, gave them our name, and proceeded to cram ourselves like sardines into a very small waiting area. We waited 40 minutes, watching group after group come in after us, and get sat before us. We left when they skipped us for the fourth time. Terrible first impression, will not be back.

Great place to socialize, bring a date, and eat. This food looks not only good and aesthetically pleasing, but also tastes amazing. I got the Big Jerry in the front. I tried the hash browns and I must say they were the best I've had in several years. I love this place, definitely will be back several times

We got a couple sandwiches to go, and we are excited to return for more. The staff are very friendly and attentive on the phone and in person. We got a Reuben and a Cuban. Both sandwiches were excellent, even though they were wrapped up to go. That's pretty important nowadays. Many customers only order food to go now. Also, the sandwiches come with delicious home made potato chips. Those little extra touches like home made chips take the food from Jolly Plate up to the next level.

This was the best homemade small town breakfast ever! From the bussers to the waitstaff, everyone worked together like a well oiled machine! The food was perfect. Highly recommend

Phenomenal food, great service. I travel out of my way to come visit this restaurant. Well worth the trip for the fresh, homemade food!

Friendly staff, amazing food, highly recommend the bourbon burger or omlette. My daughter said cc pancakes are amazing too! I love this little diner

Good food. Super friendly staff. Cozy environment. I had the eggs, toast and hashbrowns breakfast. The way they plate the toast is pretty cool. The small homemade jam containers were fun and the jam was excellent. We will go there again.

Sparkling clean & quaintly decorated diner. We were warmly greeted at the door and had excellent service throughout. Our beakfast came out hot & nicely presented. Can't wait to try the lunch menu.
