Jolly Plate

great place for brunch on our way home from a trip up north. the Reuben was spectacular, delicious thick rye bread, and the Asian salad was extra crunchy. Affordable, and the folks were indeed jolly. Especially Marie our waitress!

Looong wait, outside seating was covered with flies so we had to wait to go inside. Parking lot was packed. By the time we ordered it had cleared out, but it took a ling time to fix our eggs (they were out of pancakes, offered a mini waffle instead which arrived in 3 varrying stages of done- VERY hard crisp, just crisp and soft) My omlete was nice, cherry jam was good on toast. Ovee medium eggs and scrambled were fine also. As you can see, not a hard order, but we arrived at 12:15, and did't get served until 2:15 and leave until 2:45.

I love this place! Due to my work schedule, it's hard to get down here often but when I do, it's an experience worthwhile. While their menu isn't very big, that they do have is excellent. Their french fries are to die for and their burgers are perfectly seasoned. You can order them how you want even if it's not in the menu. Coffee is the best, it's the main staple I look forward to each time I go there. Their desserts are homemade too and they go fast so don't expect to have them available near closing time. Extremely friendly and outgoing staff! The kitchen staff loves when you ring the bell in the breezeway to indicate that you're happy with their service. This is a great little gem that shouldn't be passed by.

Excellent breakfast choices. Well-prepared and great tasting. The homemade jams are delicious.

Food has went down hill .not that good.when it first open it was real good

Recommended by a local the night before, I was very happy with this place for breakfast. Great service, the meal came quickly and you have to try the home made preserves. We had the cherry it was delicious. I had the Mediterranean omelet and it was perfect. I recommend stopping if you are in the area.

Incredibly good breakfast, featuring LOCAL products. Great service, and the coffee was just what I needed. Oh, and the pancakes....heavenly! If you are in the Ludington or Manistee area, you should give em a try!
