Our favorite place to eat when we go up north. Hard to decide which sandwich to choose - husband’s fav is the Paul Bunyan. Soup is amazing and the flavored oyster crackers are a delicious touch. We actually crave this place when we’re downstate. This year we’ll camp nearby and probably be here everyday for lunch.

I spotted this place from the road and turned off to grab a wuick bite. Dine-in offers stunning lake/river views in a cozy, wood-furnished dining area with vaulted ceilings and wall-to-wall windows. Menu boards are extensive. I orderd a half sandwich and a cup of the daily soup, to go. Perfect lunch to enjoy by the boardwalk just a ways up the road.

Everything I get here is delicious and fresh! My favorite is the chicken & cheese quesadilla, Granny Smith sandwich, and the chicken Caesar club wrap. They have the best chocolate chip cookies also. Upper Crust is a collaborative company that provides fresh baked muffins & bread to our local student-run coffee shop, The Grind Coffee House. Highly recommend!

Best sandwiches in the UP! It's like they just use better ingredients. Love the family atmosphere, too. And right in the river!! Fantastic!

Owning a restaurant my self how refreshing to find an owner working in the store involved day to day! Food was fantastic....beef barley soup was the best I’ve had. Gotta try the ruben....fantastic. Keep up the great job and we’ll be back!

Menu was awesome and extensive. Staff was super friendly and accommodating for my specific diet. Service was also fast. Lots of seating available inside and outside. The building and staff put off such a positive energy!

The kids grilled cheese was big and perfect. Great sandwiches, a local favorite as the servers knew almost everyone that walked in. We stopped in on our way through the UP, was a great lunch choice hidden only a block off hwy 2.
