I intentionally avoid the nationwide chain because they take pride in burning their coffee beans. Unfortunately Lucky Bean serves bitter coffee (and bitter service the day we went) reminiscent of going to that chain. Seems like all of the focus of late has been on adding cream, milk, flavors, (and cost); and coffee shops have forgotten about us basic coffee drinkers who just want a good cup of coffee. Go to a diner on main street and get a cup to go if you want a morning pick me up.

Highly reccomend 'Love Potion #9'. Adorable coffee shop and friendly baristas.

The only place we found on the island that can make an authentic Cappuccino, small yet mighty coffee shop. Opens relatively early for island life.

The best coffee (and tea) house on Mackinac Island! The service is always great and the people that serve you are always friendly. Sometimes when it's busy you may have to wait for a few minutes for your morning drinks but that is normal for a lot of places that serve food on the island.

Good music, off the beaten path. Honey bear worth a try. Some off menu items if your bold enough to ask

Best coffee on the island by a long shot. Just one block up from the Main Street can't be missed right by the police department building.

Wonderful pour over coffee. Sweet girl native to Mackinac Island owns the shop.

Great coffee shop on Mackinac Island! It was the first stop each morning of our trip. They really care about quality coffee here! My pour over was perfect and my wife enjoyed the specialty lattes she had. The staff was delightfully friendly as well! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the island!

We came here so my wife could get some coffee while staying on the island. She did just a regular coffee with cream and she said it was pretty good. The service was quick as they were a bit busy with the holiday weekend. The prices seemed fair and the employees we interacted with were nice.

I went to this coffee shop everyday on our vacation! The dirty hippie is a great choice, hot choclate, or the mocha! Plus the staff is so nice and wonderful, if you haven't been already you need to go now!
