Brenda’s Harbor Cafe

Brenda’s cafe is a staple of downtown Ludington. Each time my fiancé and I visit we make a point to stop here for a meal. We love the breakfast! The stuffed French toast is one of the best items on the menu! It is impressive to see Brenda running around and making sure everything runs swimmingly. Your coffee will always be hot and fresh here! Make sure to stop by if you’re hungry - if there’s a wait it’s totally worth it! Also, the bathrooms are very clean especially considering the high volume of traffic the establishment serves.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict one Tuesday morning in late May. The dish was less than what it should have been. The product used could have been better. The hash browns were skimpy and lacking. The atmosphere and service, however, were pleasant.

Had a little wait, but was definitely worth the wait. There where four of us all of our breakfasts were amazing and super fresh. Service was top notch. Highly recommend!!

This is an exceptional restaurant. Brenda is an absolute joy, and the other staff members have been nothing short of fantastic as well. The portion sizes are large and at a relatively low price. I've only been here a few times, and I will definitely be returning. The food is delicious, and the service is quite fast. This relaxed hometown diner has certainly earned its way into one of my favorite spots in Ludington.

The breakfast is Great I got the meat lovers omelette. We ate there around 11:30 The place was busy It was a Sunday people don't linger very much there They come in they eat they get up and go They know that there's somebody else waiting for a table. You won't leave hungry we didn't eat dinner until 7:00 p.m. 😌

Classic family diner atmosphere, friendly and charming. Very nice selection on the menu with simple and tasty breakfast offerings. Service was friendly and fast. Nice portion sizes.

Where do I begin?! I'm from out of town with my son and service dog and just had the most rude service I've EVER experienced at any restaurant EVER. Brenda the owner would rather defend her staff treating the customers extremely rude because of MY CHOICE to give MY service dog food UNDER the table!!! My dog is a cardiac alert service dog and some 20 year old is going to yell at me for feeding my dog under the table?? Why do you care what I do with my dog? Mind your own business. I was told by Brenda that service dogs are to be seen, not heard. At what point was he heard???? NO POINT AT ALL. Brenda, your husband worked for my family. Watch who you talk to because you never know what connections people have and now non of my family will be coming back to your establishment. The list is long and far. I don't recommend this place, not worth the headache and rude, uncalled for demanor. Plus because I had a service dog I was asked to leave.

We had the chicken BLT wrap and grilled cheese, basic fare but well made and very tasty. Would love to try their breakfast as their breakfast menu looks delish.

Great food, great prices, great service. I liked the decor, and the feel of the place. A definite must stop.

I absolutely love this place. Im not from the area so I really had no clue where to go for breakfast. I read all the great reviews on Google Maps. Seemed like the food was fantastic and the service was over the top.

The reviews didn’t disappoint! The staff here is so friendly and the food is amazing. I ordered the meat lovers omelette. The initial appearance was under whelming and a little lackluster. But I’ll tell you, the taste made up for it for sure. Coming back here again!
