Had beef stroganoff which was listed as a "special". It was not good at all. It was a plate of very overcooked and mushy noodles covered with what was purported to be the "stroganoff" i.e. meat and cream sauce. The sauce was a mix of flour/water - pasty dry and devoid of any taste. Seemed to lack the sour cream and "tasty" beef. The "beaf "was "well cooked" and somewhat gristly. Overall - not anything I would reccomend - however might have been a "bad" day for the cook.

Brenda's is always Top Notch. I need to go there more often. It had been a while but the food is still great, the menu is well priced and it's a good value for the money spent.

Staff very rude. Wrong prices on the menu. Menu said $9.50 for steak and eggs but charged $13.50. Coffee and hot chocolate cold. I will never go there again nor will I ever recommend anyone to go there

Folks tout this place for their fast service. The service is fast, but that comes at the expense of undercooked food. The cheese on the omelet I ordered wasn’t melted and the ham was cold. The fries also underdeliver, since they seem to be wal-mart bought crinkle fries. A true shame the food under-delivered, considering the wait staff is so kind and the environment is cute and homey.

We has a nice breakfast, as usual, at Brenda's today. Hubby's Western omelet, potatoes, & toast were all fresh & tasty. My biscuits & gravy were a huge plate full & very good. Our waitress was friendly & took good care of us.

Expect your typical small town diner type restaurant, EXCEPT excellent service and great menu options. Not very many places in small towns cater to gluten free diets. They have gluten free toast, which I was thrilled about. They also have turkey bacon as a healthier option to standard bacon! They also have apple butter jelly from Smuckers. YUM! The foodie in me was so thrilled! I visited once in person and once years later (today) for carry out and the food was ready in 5 minutes! AND my coffee to go was in a giant 16 oz cup! WINNING!
Note: They do charge $1.00 fee to pay using a credit card, but who cares. You're supporting a small local company, so it's totally worth it!
