The coffee is tasty and strong. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was phenomenal. Good prices too!

Friendly staff. The chicken salad Jalapeño cheddar wrap is delish, along with all of their coffee drinks! A local favorite.

Black Iron Coffee Roasters has a nice selection of different coffee bean brews and flavored lemonades like Lavender Lemonade and Strawberry.

The coffee theme decorations are very pretty and we really liked the antique coffee grinders they have scattered around.

They now can make Iced Coffee. I had the Iced Mocha and it was very good. There was not too much Mocha in it so you can still taste the coffee.

During the day they roast coffee beans on premises so I bet that makes a great smell and adds to the coffee shop ambience.

It is easy to find right in downtown Howell and it's a nice location to walk around town to different shops as you get coffee to go.

Really great coffee and a nice atmosphere. Probably the best coffee I’ve found in Livingston county

Love the coffee here. So good. Black Iron definitely makes a good cup of coffee. The friendliness of the staff could be a growth point of the business, to be honest. I would not be surprised if people choose to go elsewhere because of weird interactions with the staff. Nearly every time I go staff have been terse to the point of being rude and not really friendly. No smiles, no how are you... Even with no one behind me and the closing time far out the people asking for my order have come across unnecessarily impatient. So maybe don't dine in because the people working there don't seem to like customers & it feels like they hate you haha. But they do have amazing lattes, so would recommend

Scones last time were over the top...moist and great flavor. Lattes always perfect.

Friendly barista. Quirky decor in a spacious setting. Solid coffee with a good selection of food, including breakfast sandwiches.

Love that they roast in-house, nice to see unique non-dairy options with the oat and macadamia nut milks. Warm, inviting atmosphere, and Kennedy is an awesome barista! ♥️

I ordered a pour over coffee and breakfast wrap. Both were excellent. A lot of places have more wrap than filling in breakfast wraps – not so for Black Iron! It was very hearty and chock full of eggs ham and even greens as my special order.
