Warm, inviting atmosphere with a great location on the corner downtown. Educated staff that were pleasant and informative. Wonderful coffee and brew methods. A must while visiting GR. Setting the tone for the coffee culture in the Midwest.

Best coffee shop in Grand Rapids. Excellent service, great location, and the best coffee in West Michigan. Quality at Madcap is the best way to describe them.

Nice experience here
The expresso coffee and the chocolate cookie are delicious
The iced moka is not so tasty
Nice, quiet and sunny main room

Some of the most delicious black coffee I've ever had. Its a must stop for coffee lovers if you're in the area. Roomy simplistic but tasteful atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available for the beautiful days.

Nice, clean space with friendly staff. You can also buy plants in there! The menu is pretty limited too. Not too many food options or non-coffee options. Only alternative milk is oat.

Coffee flight is really good. Give you a chance to try a few different flavors.
I personally enjoyed the Kanzu, which is a bean from Rwanda. It has notes of baked apple, white grape, Carmel, and is soft.
I think it finishes really clean.

One of many great little coffee shops in Grand Rapids.

Friendly staff, great service and good coffee and tea :)

The register worker had absolutely NO personality and seemed quite rude and judgmental. There was a man eating a danish purchased from there which appeared to be homeless and right after he was done they had the police kick him out. He was a patron as we all were and wasn’t bothering anyone. There were other people playing board games and reading books that had been done with their coffee for sometime that did not get asked to leave. This type of place is what’s wrong with the world. So inhuman!

Very expensive and the coffee is just as you would expect it to be lol this is the type of place that troubled millennials go to sit down for hours and type nonsense into their laptops that their parents bought for them.
