Harvest and Grounds is a solid choice if you are visiting the C Gates at the Detroit Airport. Their bakery items all look very tasty, and I personally thought their blueberry muffin was perfect. I also grabbed a yogurt to go with it, and it was a nice light breakfast to quickly enjoy for a reasonable price right before my flight. I like that the coffee shop is local and committed to the growth and prosperity of Detroit since the 1990’s. My only suggestion would be to have more hot breakfast item choices - they only had two sandwiches to choose from.

Cute place and happy this is opened in terminal c, as there’s not many options. The woman working when I was there yesterday was super nice.

Healthy vegetarian options, great price for airport. Avalon international breads served here!!
I love Avalon when I’m at home in the city. They make greasy, healthy foods with good vegetarian and vegan options. It was a surprise to see them at the airport. I’m glad I could find a healthy vegetarian breakfast. The sandwich was only $6 and the coffee $3. Great price for the airport terminal. Did I mention cinnamon scones? Delicious

Service was great, opened at 6:00 A.M. on time, food was meh.

Terrible service. They had a line outside of their space and went very slowly. They need more staff to ensure service goes more quickly. I ordered the quiche. They heated it, but it was still cold. I didn't even attempt coffee because it took them 5 to 6 minutes to get hot chocolate for the woman ahead of me.

If you're in a bind and need food, it's fine for what it is.

My advice to the manager is to hire more people. You have kind employees but they cannot manage a massive line with lots of coffee orders.

Quite possibly worst turkey sandwich was mostly soggy bread generic yellow cheese dollar store turkey and that's it. But only 10 bucks. They only have one person working making every kind of coffee you can think of. Three people in front of me had to wait 10 minutes to get my sandwich and water. Don't go there.

I love this place! Friendly, prompt and great product at a reasonable price for airports.

This space is located by gate C11, a few minute walk from the Starbucks, however WORTH IT! They even have almond milk! Avoid the horribly slow and distasteful Starbucks, and come to this sweet spot!

8:15 on Monday, still closed up tight. Hours claim 6 am opening. Not good for a coffee shop.

They pretend to be enviornmentally friendly, but when I offered to use my own cup to reduce waste, they refused. This is the first coffee shop I have ever been to that has done this(and most others will give you a discount for bringing your own cup!)

Lady working at the counter was super nice and helpful, coffee was pretty good - better than what i expected from airport coffee. It was decently priced which is what i wanted compared to other places in the airport.
