Food is delicious. Particularly enjoyed the Tandoori chicken wrap and the Common Scramble. Prosciutto and shaved on toasted sourdough is decadent and scrumptious

So cute in here! Vegan food was a 10/10, tons of unique options for breakfast! Their cookie had the perfect balance of crunch/soft and the latte art was beautifully done. The sweet potatoes on the farro bowl were definitely a stand out. Banana pancakes had vegan Nutella, which was delicious, and had a nice thickness overall. If you’re vegan, definitely come here for a filling breakfast!

I always love coming here! An absolute favorite. I’ve tried many items on the menu and it’s always, fresh, delicious & beautiful!! My favorite is that they have many options for gluten free & vegan eaters! If you’re in the area, stop in! Plus, the atmosphere is always welcoming! This time, I ordered the quinoa bowl! Yummmm

- great ambiance, always bustling place
- amazing menu and the flavors
- a lot of options on the menu are all vegetarian with protein to add. Convenient for vegetarian people
- only thing i didn’t like was the expensive customization if you want something extra (i paid $9 just to add chicken to a bowl)

First Visit to Commonwealth! Nice atmosphere with several menu options,
Tandoori Chicken salad was very tasty dressing and filling , my wife ordered grilled cheese and tomato Soup and enjoyed it .
I would suggest a kiosk or a more speedy way of ordering , the process should be automated. We will be Back. .

A good restaurant with unique open seating as the name suggests. Good industrial decor and minimalist menu. Pretty much what you expect from eclectic Birmingham downtown neighborhood. Now coming to food, start off with coffee and banana bread- pretty good. Food items we ordered were filling and great taste. Great place for brunch, it does get steady stream of customers but tables are not difficult to find

Pretty cool atmosphere. Very nice staff. Went during dinner time but food wasn’t really where I expected to be for the price. I’ll try them for breakfast maybe.

My friends and I met there for brunch on a snowy winter morning. The dreary weather has us all feeling a little poopy, but our moods changes when we got our food.
I don't remember what I ordered but I get a good shot of it and remember it being spicy and so delicious! The coffee and specialty lattes were great too, you have to try at least one when you go.

My only problem with this place is the quantity of food, they put too much on my plate… although I can’t complain about that. I feel bad wasting though… :/

Otherwise best breakfast in birmingham!

The vibe is busy….and fun. Great place to meet for breakfast/lunch.
I don’t love that you can’t grab a table before ordering…but I give the staff credit that they make it run smoothly every time, they have their rules and stick to them…and it works. Never been left standing around without a place to sit. It is a well oiled machine. Staff is pleasant. You can tell they take pride in their job, and it shows.
The food is good. Expensive for what it is imo, but good. The commonwealth burrito 🙌.
Would like if they did refills on drip coffee because it seems like a standard that most restaurants do….
