Ursa Major Bistro & Coffee Shop

Wouldn't recommend ran by children it took over 40 mins for my husband to get a smoothie, he was already done eating by then. Witnessed our waiter taking a spoonful of icecream out of the big jugs and then eat it. Another waiter was juggling in store and would randomly sit on bar stools and play on his phone. Nobody really wanted to serve their customers. I got the breakfast burritos the food wasnt terrible but just service was absolutely horrible.

I rarely write reviews but rarely are my experiences as bad as this one was. Dirty. Patio was not cleared of dirty baskets and silverware. Litter blowing around. Service was ridiculously slow and indifferent. And worst of all, my husband's meal was inedible. A veggie burger patty half the thickness of a hockey puck and every bit as hard. Yikes!

There food is really good her but both times I have been here even when it doesn't look that busy I sat and waited for my food for 45 minutes. Both times no one bothered to tell me it was going to be this long of a wait and several of my coworkers have said they won't go there again because they had the same issues. They all said the shortest wait was 45 minutes and one time it was almost an hour before they got their food.
I hate writing stuff like this especially because their food is really really good but if they could figure something out about the extremely long wait I would eat there more often seeings that I don't work far from them.

Good food but the staff is very unwelcoming and short with their customers. I've been there three times (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) but they've been unkind every time so we won't be returning.

It was around 15 minutes before anyone greeted us after we sat down. They weren't very busy, most of the tables were empty. Multiple people had gotten up and left waiting for service. The food was decent, but not worth the wait. The only redeeming point was that they had Moomer's Ice Cream (was rated best ice cream in America but Good Morning America).

I've eaten here several times. Service is lacking, slow and inattentive; the food is ok. Coffee is ok even though there is a great board with a tremendous selection. The atmosphere is quaint and artsy. Location is really great, but DO NOT try the reuben, the meat was disgusting, so fatty and the grease was horrible. The squash soup on the other hand was incredible!

Good food, but woefully understaffed when we visited. At first I thought our server was trying to ignore us, then realized there were only two people working the entire FOH and they couldn't keep up with bussing, waiting tables (inside and out), and taking coffee/ice cream orders at the counter. Glad we stuck it out because the food was great, but next time we'll be counting the servers before committing to eating here.

Good food. Coffee was good. Wait staff was very friendly. The best part is the dog friendly outdoor seating. We ate here three times over the weekend because of it. Enjoyed all three meals.

I am allergic to dairy products so I ordered the goulash since the menu didn’t indicate any dairy. Not very busy for a Sunday afternoon, but it took 20 minutes for two bowls of goulash. It arrived covered with cheese. I sent it back and asked for a bowl with no cheese. 15 minutes later, my wife had finished her lunch but no sign of my lunch. I had to stop the server and asked “any luck on getting my food any time soon?” The reply was “it will be out shortly”. After a few more minutes it finally arrived and I got to eat alone. We will not return.

Good food and service at very reasonable prices!
