Ok. Arguably the best coffee in Ann Arbor (at least I think so). This is the rosewood location. They just built a wonderful pergola and all the seating here is currently outdoors. One of my favorite places to sit and relax with friends or by myself. Very dog friendly with exceptional coffee and service.

We just stopped in for coffee and breakfast and I really appreciated the staff’s polite attitudes! So nice. Thanks Roos Roast!

One of Washtenaw County's best spots for coffee! Lots of outdoor seating available. Excellent coffee and a super nice staff.

I usually buy coffee beans here for my own. They provide a range of different flavor of coffee regularly, single origin and blended one.

Very nice ambience outside. Great staff and tasty drinks. What more to ask for?

RoosRoast has the absolute best coffee, and I've been buying their beans for years (even when I didn't live in Ann Arbor). Badass Women and Mother Pheasant Plucker are my general favorites, but their rotating single origins always have something good, and they also do special seasonal roasts, like their end of year Holiday Blend.
You can pick up bulk orders of coffee / tea here, but also buy cafe staples like hot food, pastries, and coffee/tea/espresso drinks, plus t-shirts/mugs/stickers/hats/anything else RoosRoast-branded.
This location is off the beaten path which is nice - real neighborhood vibes. There's lots of outdoor seating, but very minimal indoor seating (even pandemic aside).
Currently, masks seem to be required to enter and order, but it looks like eating/drinking indoors without a mask is okay. Masks are being provided as well if you forget your own.

I was impressed by even the fact that they had biodegradable plastics!

I come here occasionally to get coffee beans and also for their drinks. I've had their drip coffee, cold brew, iced lattes, and regular lattes. They were all good. Breakfast burritos were good too, though a bit pricey for what it is. Outdoor seating if you want to hang out while drinking your brew. One of the best coffee shops you'll find in Ann Arbor though.

Easily one of the best coffee roasters/shops in southeast Michigan. The coffee is very high quality. You get fresh, tasty beans with a decent variety in roast styles and flavors.
It is a bit on the pricey side compared to other local shops, but in my opinion the coffee taste warrants it. That said, if you are someone who is less picky about coffee, keep the price in mind.
This location also has a cool atmosphere and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

What a wonderful little coffee house.
Through no fault of management, getting there was difficult due to construction.
But, I would go again, with a driving strategy.
It is good to see the roads are being fixed.
And of course the reward is a great coffee house coffee.
