I went here a while ago and the coffee was just okay. The breakfast was also, just okay. The bathroom reeked of bleach and artificial air freshener.

Poor wifi connection and slow drink-sequencing and making. Was grabbed inappropriately by a customer because he couldn't pay his bill, this place has really weird clientele. On top of that, my iced latte had little to no milk and tasted like watery espresso. Would not recommend.

First impression is, looks like an awesome place to work from! Very cozy, clean, and warm vibes—though maybe the barista wasn't having a good day, or maybe it's a cultural difference where you don't really greet the client and just wait from them to state their order. 🤷🏻 Not the end of the world, but was a bit awkward for me to stand there.
Anyway, latte wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Looking to try other drinks maybe a straight up black coffee to determine.
Got two empanadas (beef and pork) which look amazing so I'm excited to try them out!
Parking is a bit tough, there's some non-residential parking if you park two blocks away on an adjacent street, but it's very very limited.
Noise level at least for a Thursday was not loud at all. Music was kept at a super reasonable level where you can hear yourself think given the amount of people—other cafes tend to go a little wild with music selection and volume.
I'd give a 4.5 if I could and not a 4 for everything.

I couldn’t have been happier to move to the neighborhood and find Zaruma Gold right around the corner. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the espresso is quite good! It’s location a short walk off Highland seems to make it less crowded, perfect for a short-wait coffee and treat. Will be returning often!
My only critique is that some of the pastries when reheated lost their flakiness, which I wasn’t expecting, but it wasn’t a big enough issue to dock a star.

Great coffee, fantastic food, lots of seating indoor and out, calm and quiet.

Awesome cafe with really personal service! Highly recommend trying their empanadas

Love this new coffee place! Still trying out the menu, but the coffee is superb and smooth. My favorite so far is the mocha latte which doesn't overpower the coffee like in other places! The desserts and empanadas are also delicious! I try to stop myself from getting a piece every time I go but alas - goodbye diet... Definitely go check it out if you're looking for a change of pace in your pandemic routine. The inside is spacious and they have plenty of outdoor seating too.

Lovely neighborhood coffee shop with a huge variety of unique, well-made food and drinks. Got a tropical smoothie made with kefir. Solid wifi for working.

I’m not gonna ding this place with 1 star because it’s a small business, but that microwaved pork empanada was sad. What looked like a crunchy shell was mushy soft. The whole thing tastes like the inside of a freezer. It’s been an hour and I can still taste freezerburn. Instead of having 8-10 different empanadas, just have 2 and serve them fresh. Bleeeeech

This little coffee shop is usually run by just one person, so expect your order to take a bit longer. They are so wholesome and really love their shop. There is a huuuuge variety of goodies that changes up frequently (baked goods, crepes, ice cream, sandwiches, etc). I am not usually a 'go out for my morning coffee' type person, but have found myself coming 3-4 times a week because I love supporting this place. I come for a coffee and usually stay to grab a couple of treats while I'm at it.
