Alice from the Bean Counter is absolutely the sweetest, most fantastic human! The cakes here are out of this world and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful! I'm not a really a regular customer kind of person but this place is so amazing I can't imagine going anywhere else for coffee or cake, love love love it here!

Always a great experience! From our initial tasting, to customizing our wedding cake exactly how we wanted it, to our one year anniversary mini cake. Highly recommend! Thank you for everything !

Kept us waiting nearly an hour late for a set appointment for a wedding cake tasting despite us sitting right in front of the proprietor and her being notified of our arrival. Needless to say that didn't get us started off on the right foot, and it went downhill from there. Felt rushed during our appointment, because she was failing behind on her afternoon schedule I presume. A personal pet peeve is not showing respect for my time.

Cakes were ok but a little too sweet and dry; not the amazing experience others had built us up for. We went with another vendor because we liked the taste better and their customer service was far superior. Won't do business with these folks, and recommend you keep your options open before settling on them as well. Don't believe the hype.

I've ordered cakes at the Bean Counter a few times, and I truly am a fan, but today my cake was not ready for pick up, and waiting 25 min. to get it done made me late for work, which unfortunately made the experience frustrating (and that's the reason for 4 stars vs. 5). The cake was obviously delicious, and I can't complain about the quality od their products, I'll just have to try and remember to call a day ahead next time and make sure my order will be ready the next day.
I did get a discount on the cake for the trouble.

I ordered a cake for my husbands graduation & it came out perfect !!! It was absolutely delicious and beautiful! I ordered last minute & they were very accommodating. Highly recommend this shop for custom cake orders. ❤️

Really sweet place with a bunch of delicious options and great coffee. Went with a friend after work and would definitely go again. Highly recommend their latte with a cupcake (I got the death by chocolate and it was lovely).

Very disappointed! I ordered vegan cupcakes for my toddler who’s allergic to dairy and nuts, and when I get there they don’t have my order and suggest I called the wrong place when I obviously know where I called, because they were the only place who had vegan cupcakes near me. Now my daughters birthday is ruined. Thanks for 0 customer service.

One of the best experiences I have ever had. Stuff (Alice) was really nice, very helpful, willing to help anytime, even late hours. I had a small incident with the cake before the shower and they fixed it last minute without any extra charges.
The cake itself was soooooooo delicious and all our guests loved loved loved it. The feedback we have received are really great.
I would strongly suggest Bean Counter in Shrewsbury MA.... THE ONE AND THE ONLY

100% honest review.

This place is an over priced and over glorified place, especially it's Worcester locations. A friend of mine paid over $500 for a cake and 98% of the recipients wound up having food poisoning to the point the board of health was called...and they did nothing. There was no refund and the following day when she opened the fridge the cake was completely liquidfied. A friend of mine told me this happens when someone dumps a half bottle of apple cider vinegar in a cake mixture. Now why would u put that in a pumpkin cake. Perhaps the rookies should be fired. PS: the woman cutting the cake couldn't cut it, it still had hard plastic and cardboard in it.

It's been a year, no one will return my friends calls. I think since the board of health was called an apology should be given with a FULL refund.

A reputation is nothing...if word of mouth gets around. PS...these reviews can never be removed, no matter what
