Café Chew

I love Café a Chew.
The staff is incredibly polite, the food is very good, bakery items are always fresh and tasty but most importantly to me they make an amazing Macchiato. Its is quite literally the reason i go there. No sugary syrups no fancy names just an amazing cup of expresso and blob of foam that reminds me of Italy is so good. To say no one does it better would imply you could get them any where but most places don't know what they are doing or have the quality of coffee chew has. So i will just say Chew is amazing.

We like to get up early and head to the Cale then stop here for breakfast on the way. They have seating inside and out. The staff are very friendly and their menu has something for everyone. The baked goods are irresistible so plan to have one with your coffee or being a few to your final destination for an afternoon treat or dessert.

It’s Father’s Day and every place was packed and un inviting because of the busyness of the day. We assumed the Cafe Chew would be packed (it was ) but no team member would ever let you know. We had our kids with us and didn’t think they could make the wait but the pure efficiency of this place was incredible. The cherry on top was the young gentlemen working the patio making sure my family had everything they needed to make this was a great experience. The food was amazing and customer experience was even better. If you ever need a place to go for breakfast/lunch and experience I would say look no further! Best way to start Father’s Day!

My family and I all loved our lunch to go from here. The restaurant was clean, organized, and the staff were enforcing social distancing procedures well. The restroom was also clean and signs were posted with reminders on how to properly minimize contact. The sandwiches we all ordered, tuna, Turkey, and hummus/tabuli were all amazing. Loved this place.

Delicious food, lots of vegetarian options, very friendly service. Lots of outdoor seating which I appreciated. Also get the desserts! You won't regret it.

Choatic, disorganized, loud, long wait. Not a relaxing setting at all

Very kind people work here and the food was great. I had the French toast and coffee and both were perfect even for comfort foods. I went with 4 other people and no one was disappointed. Prices were great as well, but that might be because I'm from Los Angeles where most places are overpriced. My full meal was under $10 though and left me very satisfied

Stopped in for a coffee and bagel. Rich coffee, freshly made pastries and muffins! There's a side table to flavor your coffee and tea, as you prefer. The Chew tries to be as Earth friendly as possible. Inside and outside seating, exceptionally gracious staff! Love it here.

My friend came here just to get a quick bite to eat, and in passing asked a male employee if they he knew if the establishment had an open position. A different employee described as “an older woman with dirty blonde hair” inserted herself into the conversation telling my friend “we don’t want you we have enough highschoolers already” my friend was shocked and before she had a chance to reply the woman walked off. My still confused friend then went to the pick up line to wait for her food. While she was standing among everyone else in the area waiting the same older employee with dirty blonde hair came up to the counter and asked specifically my friend and no one else if she needed anything. My friend replied “no I’m wait waiting for my food” to which the employee said “well if you weren’t standing there like that I wouldn’t be asking” It is very disheartening to hear how the leaders of this establishment have allowed an employee to treat customers this way one one time let alone the amount of all the times this has certainly happened in the past. My friend did nothing to be treated in such a disgusting manner. It is crazy how a fully grown woman can sit there and bully a teenager fully unprovoked and in cold blood. I hope that in reading this the establishment leaders realize there is an issue that needs immediate recognition, and that they resolve the issue swiftly.

A quaint self-order style cafe & bakery. Paninis & Salads make up most of the menu, outside of drinks and baked goods. Food was enjoyable and staff was friendly.
