Was in town for work and I stopped here twice. Once was during the busy lunch rush and I was amazed at the efficiency and hard work of the staff. Second time was less busy. Both times excellent food and service. Also the little pickle that comes with the sandwich is great!

Man this was quite a delicious lunch! Food was ready so fast and was flavorful and good quality. I also had a dirty chai and that was delicious.

The Marketplace Cafe is an excellent restaurant for lunch! We stopped by on our way back from visiting The Clark and had great salads and sandwiches. Here’s a tip that might prove helpful. You only have to pay for the parking meters until 4pm.

I'll pass on the rec I got for the Berkshire Bella-- don't get it as a sandwich, because it's quite messy. Delicious, though.

This place doesn't need any more rave reviews, but why not add one anyway? Above average espresso / latte. Above average menu. Artisan ingredients require some menu pondering but isn't that part of the fun? Or you can just pick at random and it will be awesome. Probably.

Seating is limited indoors but in fair weather they add some outside tables. Takeout is super easy.

Parking is a bit of a bummer. On-street parking is often impossible but there is a large pay lot on McKay street just a one block walk.

One of the best sandwich shops I’ve been to. They have amazing breakfast sandwich’s and wraps! You need to give this place a try! 10/10

Terrible food. Gave me the wrong sandwich and it was not busy what so ever. I asked for a BLT and got a cold roast beef that was so tough I couldn’t bite thru it. So I threw it away. Would never ever go back. Waste of time and money

I'm piggybacking off of "Reviews WithoutName" from several years ago.
He/She is in IT so obviously I'm not seeing something wrong myself.

Nothing has changed on the IT front for 3 years now so obviously there's a big problem, both in their IT world and the service concerning it.

You don't just come to a cafe for lunch or to meet for meetings you come there TO WORK. That means your computer. This isn't the 90s when you just wait for the circles going round and round using the general public Pittsfield Wifi (that gets poor connectivity inside). Every other cafe in Pittsfield closes at 2.

I consistently try to log-on to the house Wi-Fi and the ID does not pop up in the list.
For about six visits now since September '22.

Consistently they say it should. Exactly.

And when I try to work on it with one of the staff the manager just pushes everything along and says "are we ordering anything".
In fact the manager is the only unfortunate part of this place.

I wish I could give five stars at the same time: the rest of the staff are just extremely delightful, the food is fab and healthy, coffees and teas top. Well-lit.
And when the terrace is open in the warm months, everybody is outside in the afternoon taking in the afternoon sun talking, with Max Rivisi's of Penelope & Floyd Landscape ingenious planter installations all about.

I got the Cesar wrap and my partner got the Bartholomew’s Gobble. They were both scrumptious! We enjoyed the unique brand of chips as well! He had a refreshing iced latte. The service was friendly and the restaurant’s decor is charming! We can’t wait to come back for more!

Quality, tasty food made quickly from friendly staff in a quaint nice atmosphere. Only slight negative is things are pricey for what you get
