Love this place. I tried the turmeric latte, which I personally thought was fabulous. Love the old building, it's a cool atmosphere. I happened to be here for the first snow of the season, so I "lounged# with my latte in the corner window to watch the snowfall. Unique gem.

We chose this place because my gf is gluten intolerant and they have a good gluten free biscuit for their egg sandwich. I am now seeing an alternative place that does not feel free to talk trash about other businesses with customers around to hear it. I had the displeasure of hearing the two workers on Saturday 4/19 am shift trash one of my friends local business. Opinions are cool to have, however you should probably not choose to share yours while you are at work, for all to hear. I definitely won't be going back due to this extreme ignorance. Which sucks because the food and coffee aren't half bad. Train your staff better. That's the best advice I can give this business owner.

Dotties is a superb place to start the day off right. Awesome staff, quaint atmosphere. If you have a meeting there is space for that. Out side dining is offered if you wanted. A nice place to have that 1st cup and watch Pittsfield waking up.

Excellent place for lunch or sweets! Cool atmosphere!

Over priced Berkshire sandwich for $11.00 - even Denny's breakfast taste better than this overpriced and salty sandwich. Al Fresco style with flies flying around and stalling creamery delivery truck. Avoid this place unless you don't mind the traffic noise, pollution with flies and teeny weeny metal tables

I work at a front desk of a hotel and it can be very frustrating figuring out Dottie's day's of operation. For instance they are closed for memorial day weekend but nothing on their site or Google reflects this. I sent
a guest over in the cold wet weather and they had to then walk back without even getting breakfast. Do better.

Their website says use the app to order. I used it and placed an order for an egg sandwich and coffee at 12:15pm. It’s 1:03pm now and the sandwich came out. Not the coffee. Now they’re making the coffee. People in line are being served before the app ordering. So at this point it’ll be an hour to get an egg sandwich and coffee for $15

This review is not directed towards the food or coffee, but to the owner herself. I was employed at this coffee shop for approximately a week. By all accounts I was hard-working, friendly and dedicated. On my 4th day of employment I received training from the owner.. the entire staff ( all of whom are wonderful) eluded that she was mean, emotionally unstable, and unpredictable. Well they forgot to mention abusive and condescending as well. For 2 days straight, she hovered over me criticizing every single thing I did in a extremely demeaning way in front of customers. For one example, yelling very loudly at me when I crouched down under the register to look for gift certificates.. Her reason was “I Left the customer“... The customer was very confused, and stated that he had just asked me for a gift certificate, and I was looking for him. A few hours later I mistakenly grabbed the wrong style mug for a americano, She started yelling extremely loudly and aggressively that I didn’t even know what I was doing or what an espresso drink was. I could tell a 100 of these types of episodes that occurred in a 16 hour time span. She talked negatively about any employee that was not working at that particular time... And they all seemed terrified of her. Since that time every person I have spoken to that has previously worked at Dotties has had the exact same experience. She berates and belittles the entire staff. If you’re like me and you care about the type of people that own an establishment and how employees are treated, then you will not go to Dotties.

Dottie's is mainly a great coffee shop where you can also get a very good breakfast and fast wifi. You order at the counter and staff later brings your breakfast to your table. The kitsche decor has nothing to do with the quality of the coffee and food. The place is very large and comfortable.
