Outstanding vibe with the most beautiful live music and incredible and wholistic food/bev . We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem ❤️

Couldn't disagree more with comments about rude staff. I experience the exact opposite every single time no matter who is on shift there. They're all awesome. Also, the cold brew is insanely delicious. And everything else of course.

Definitely my fav place in Pittsfield! Great staff menu is awesome. I loved the grain wrap but it's not on menu anymore! Had a great salad with strawberries avocados and walnuts🙌it was amazing!

I go fairly often when I'm in Pittsfield because though I also like Marketplaces food, their coffees aren't great. So the coffee is the best on Pittsfield but of course that's not saying much, Pittsfield being a coffee wasteland. Anyway reading the reviews made me realize it's not just me.... you see I like the coffee somewhat and the goodies are pretty good sometimes, but good lord there is no place in.the area with staff so unfriendly, or "surly" as a number of reviews have mentioned. They would do SO much better in tips if they only were friendlier and maybe smiled once in a while. In can be quite jarring

This place may be "quirky" but it's filled with classist gentrified self proclaimed liberals who do not actively use progress courtesy. I went into this establishment with two of my African American friends and we continuously received dirty looks from staff and patrons. Overpriced and stuck in the time period their furniture is from!

Relaxed, quirky, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone working there was friendly. I had a well-turned out breakfast sandwich, the coffee is dark and tasty, and it was a great price!

Dottie's is the bohemian coffee house you want it to be - guitar player in the corner, local art and photography covering the walls, good coffee and yummy breakfast including homemade yogurt/granola and bakery muffins. The only issue was the disgusting state of the restroom. It smelled awful and looked like it belonged in a college bar at the end of a Saturday night. Pittsfield's population isn't big enough to excuse a dirty restroom on a Sunday morning.

We had a tough time finding a proper breakfast in downtown Pittsfield, someplace that didn't feel like we were eating a microwaved pastry in a gas station 7-11. This place came through with flying colors. Warm, friendly service, custom roasted artisanal coffee, and quite honestly the best bagel I've ever tasted in my life, served with copious whipped cream cheese, farm-fresh tomatoes, red onions, and house-cured lox. On future trips to Pittsfield, this will be the place we go back to repeatedly.

Pricey but delicious! Never had breakfast in a wrap before! Scrambled egg, avocado, beans, yellow rice, cheese and bacon!

The coffee is fine.
I've been to this café around ten times, different hours, different days, different seasons. The one common element is the shite attitude of the barristas.
Not once have I been greeted as though I were a decent, paying, human customer. I don't know what the damn deal is, maybe something in the water, but I walk in, belly up to the bar, say hello, and immediately feel as though I'm nude in the playground, covered with peanut butter (I'm not).
Smalltown hipsters. They're an enigma, huh?
