Service was GREAT!!!!! The owner came over to chat and just made my sister and I feel at home. My scramble was perfect- in every way and shape!!! My only complaint was the price of the mimosa. It cost almost as much as our two meals did. It was tasty- most definitely, but very expensive for the small size. Unless you are prepared for sticker shock, stick with just the food- you will not be disappointed!!

I was a little nervous thinking it was a hotel restaurant, but it turned out great! The staff are very polite and friendly, and the food is good. Yes it's not the cheapest place but in this touristy area, you come to expect that and it's not outrageous. I had the Portuguese scramble, and it was fantastic. They also offered a lobster omelette, and several other interesting specials. I'll be coming back!

I had very high expectations of this restaurant. I use to come to Truro for years staying at Days Inn Cottages just down the road from it. I would always notice the sign "Fish Fry" on Fridays but never went to eat. This time I stayed at Top Mast Hotel on Friday and thought this would be chance to eat there. The food was good, I like the taste of the fish however I expected at least 2 pieces. The main issue was first I had to seat myself then wait for a while for someone to come over to give our menus then it took the food about an hour to come out. Apparently we were told they were short staffed. While this could be true due to the Covid-19 we are going through my experience didn't meet the expectation that I had coming in.

The worst place for breakfast!! Took almost two hours to get our food. The staff was rude, and the bathrooms nasty!!
When I finally got my breakfast my hasbrowns were cold, my over easy eggs were so undercooked that the eggs whites ran off my plate. My Texas toast was burnt and the polish sausage was a glob of fat.
Save your money and get a local donut.

Contrary to the most recent reviews, we loved our breakfast at this restaurant where we ate 4 days in a row last week. Food was above par for a breakfast menu, we loved the staff and the owner who all were very attentive. Highly recommended in my opinion.

Excellent food and service!! Everything freshly made amazing flavors great selection of food for our family!! We tried dinner last night and now breakfast, by far best food in the North Truro area!!! 5 Stars hands down!! Don’t go anywhere else Top Mast Cafe is the place to go!!

Great food, affordable prices! Parking! Dog friendly! Patio view! Delicious food- friendly staffed. Short staffed like everywhere on the cape. Be patient people! Enjoy, and be glad you can get in!

Visited with a group after Labor day. Food was very good, but service was slow to start and disorganized, even though the meal selections had been called in that morning. Beautiful inside and outside - in view of the water.

Food was great. Sitting outside with a nice breeze felt awesome. The Koi pond was a treat for my kiddo and we enjoyed feeding them. The cinnamon roll was perfectly done. Highly recommend stopping by here.

We were excited to try this resturant for breakfast Sunday morning due to their variety on their menu. Boy, was I disappointed!
I ordered a two egg bacon and cheddar omelet with homefries and toast. The cheese wasn't even melted in my omelet, and there was maybe one singular scoop of homefries on my plate (maybe 3 bites worth). Then while eating my disappointing omelet, there was a curly black hair in my eggs!!! Returned it to the kitchen, didn't have them remake it. Not worth it.
My husband ordered a the duces breakfast, he said it wasn't anything special and tasted very plain.
We also ordered a waffle because someone else nearby was served one and it looked super delicious. Upon getting the check 1 singular waffle was 10$!!

Over priced, bland, and disappointing!
