Chocolate Cafe

I only come here for the candy, so I cannot speak to the quality of the coffee or pastries. That being said, the candy is excellent! My go-to is the milk chocolate malt balls, though the chocolate covered espresso beans are also up there. The store is cozy, clean, and has a great old-school vibe to it. It's so dang cute!

One thing to note: At the time of writing this review (7/28/2021), Chocolate Café is still requiring customers to wear masks. Therefore, if you are planning a visit, make sure you bring yours!

Sausage egg and cheese sandwich was great, on a plump English muffin. I ordered also smoothies that looked very good though I didn't drink. A bit pricey for for vacation area seemed ok.

Cute breakfast sandwich and chocolate store. The breakfast sandwich (meats on English muffin) is excellent and so is the not too sweet hot chocolate and the Owner's family recipe for baklava. Many home made truffles and special shaped chocolate goodies and has a small clean dining back room with two tables.

WOW!! So much fun! Nostalgia runs wild here! This beautiful little, unassuming cafe belies the adventure inside. Though the menu is somewhat limited, a hungry patron can order and eat well for a very reasonable price. Nostalgic posters, decor, and atmosphere are part of the charm here. My favorite.... the “I LOVE LUCY” (video) show on the antique TV! I was equally enthralled by the bright pink “ice box” behind the counter.
True chocolate confection bliss awaits the eager “chocoholics!” Truffles, candies, fudge and other delectables fill the showcase. Try one! ..or TWO!!

My boyfriend and I were visiting the Cape for the weekend, our first time ever here! We needed a quick stop for breakfast on our way home on a busy weekend and this was an excellent choice. The shop inside was so cute with different sweet treats and gifts to choose from. It seemed like goods from small businesses which I love. The breakfast sandwiches were served hot and fresh and were delicious. The coffee was also very good and they had several coffee options to choose from.

This was a very disappointing experience. The staff was very rude and unprepared. We ordered 3 drinks and they served 6 entire orders who ordered AFTER us, before getting to our order. It took over 30 minutes for this process. There were only 4 people ahead of us, and we received no apology. Furthermore, we purchased two gift cards before the wait that were advertised, as shown here, for $3.95, and at the counter they up-charged it to $4.95 saying “the sign was wrong.” No apologies for the entire experience, and clearly will not be ordering here again.

There's a big selection of anything candy or chocolate related and even some actual breakfast and lunch foods, everything is 50s themed which is really cute to look at,antique looking applicances that give you nostalgia haha I didn't have any of the food,just the candy but I'd like to go back and try the food

Great coffees and pastries. Honestly the quality of the food is better than the Hole in One where the line is a half an hour long. We got some fudge too. Solid overall. Came back 3 times. Kids loved it 😄

Super long wait for them to answer the doorbell while we waited in the rain. They require them spraying BOTH hands of sanitizer, one spray is more than sufficient to run hands w. When you're spraying all day at every business you visit, 2 spritz feels like overkill. Overpriced, I'm good to skip this one.

I liked the decor and my family was amused by their sense of humor. I had frozen mocha, which was not frozen at all and too sweet for me. I exchanged it for iced coffee. The iced coffee was tart. I did not like it but my family liked their coffee. The woman at the cashier was nice. I thought the way they asked for tips was clever.
