Wigwam Western Summit

What a pleasure to see this place given the treatment it deserves - it is a gorgeous stopping place with all sorts of delicious local food and gifts, incredibly friendly storekeeper, and the most amazing view! Absolutely worth a stop - the best possible welcome or farewell to the North Adams area!

LOVE this place. Always top of my list when we make our way out to North Adams. We had to try the cheese fondue, and of course it didn’t disappoint! Paired with such gorgeous views, you need to make sure this place is on your bucket list 🤗

Beautiful views of the mountains and wonderful customer service. Great selection of products too. We bought some souvenirs and coffee. Best coffee we had all week while on vacation!

We enjoyed our visit to the Wigwam Western Summit while out on our ride through the Mohawk Trail, Lea the owner is great! She keeps a clean shop with such a wide variety of gifts, food and beverages. Lea your coffee with Maple Syrup is delicious, we'll be back!

I recently made an almost annual visit to this shop not only to enjoy the view but also to shop for souvenirs of the Berkshires. While there, and the only person in the store, I was checking and holding a sweatshirt when the lady behind the counter asked if she could make me a cup of coffee. I replied “no thank you but could I use the (public) restroom”. She immediately replied that the restroom “is for customers only”! Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t it appear that I was a customer? It wasn’t like I rushed into the place searching for a restroom, I was shopping and had been there long enough for her to offer coffee. I later learned that the lady is the store owner.
No wonder shops along the trail are fewer and fewer when customers are treated like this.

I've been stalking the WigWam's social media platforms for months. So when my boyfriend surprised me with a visit on a random Sunday I was excited, to say the least. The resort lives up to every single post they share, and then some... Because the views are EXTRAORDINARY! The gift shop is stocked with wonderfully creative, unique, and funky souvenirs but more importantly with food and drinks. Lea quickly knew I'd love a mimosa and my partner a beer, which is always appreciated. She then took some extra time to show us around the property. Words don't do this place justice, it is easy to see why the 2022 season is fully sold out. We are looking forward to returning for some fondue and possibly a 2023 staycation visit.

What a find in the middle of the Berkshires! Lea is the owner of this incredible, eclectic new play on a country general store with a bar. We stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The food was wholesome and made from scratch in the little kitchen area. Her coffee was a slow pour and delicious. Every spot in the store is purposeful. Have a bite and enjoy the view. If you're in North Adams you have to stop in! Can't wait to go back!

WOW, majestic view, fabulous shop, amazing keepers! We had a fantastic experience on our visit to the store. We were travelling along the Mohawk trail area and happened to spot Wigwan Western Summit place. We decided to stop just for a little stretch and for the breathtaking view, and ended up staying for lunch and for some shopping. Well, we could not resist the aroma of fresh food cooking in the air, and the warmest hospitality that is so rare now a days. Brianna the cook made us Mexican style pizza right on the spot and as we waited for lunch to get ready, Leah the Summit keeper gave us a tour of the three mountain ranges embracing the Berkshires. We surely had a pleasant class that day! Thank you girls, you are precious! For those who read this, go visit Wigwan Western Summit, You will just enrich your travel memories.

I made the trip up the mountain a couple of times this past year to get your delicious homemade fudge and other goodies. Everyone was very friendly. And as always the view was unbeatable!
