My crew and I were looking or an egg for breakfast, and we got so much more!!! The view from the gift shop was stunning-Lea, the proprietor, calls it a million dollar view, but she is badly undervaluing it. She actually is was not due to be open, but she welcomed my party of 5 warmly and cooked us all egg and bacon breakfast sandwiches, with an excellent poured brew cup of coffee. She kept us entertained with the history of the site, and her efforts to restore the abandoned property to its present outstanding state. She also gave us a tour of the 3 bedroom rental property next door-we will be back for that place-the views were stunning. This stop is a must if you are in the area!!!!

Stopped here to check out the view; America's Switzerland! I went in to the shop because a sign said they had excellent cold brew, which was in fact excellent. It tasted like genuine cold brew and not just brewed hot coffee that they tossed in the fridge. I ordered a sandwich, which was tasty with no junk ingredients. Turkey, cheese, lettuce, onion, and a slice of apple on whole grain bread. Uncomplicated, just the way I like it.

The shop itself has some interesting things for sale. I bought some post cards to write while I was waiting for my sandwich and the woman who rang up my order (who I assumed was the incredibly attentive owner) offered to mail them for me! I thought this was incredibly thoughtful.

I will be back again, and recommend to anyone making the trip down the Mohawk trail to stretch their legs and refresh here.

We stopped in at the Wigwam Western Summit while on a drive during a camping trip, partly for the view, partly to check out what they sold. There are so many interesting items for sale. The t-shirt designs are all really cool. While checking out the shop, the owner, Lea, told us that they were known for their cold brew, so I immediately ordered one. Great cup of coffee! Lea then told us that she designed all of the shirts, and was telling us the inspiration for them. Lea told us the history of the building and cabins, and how she came to buy it and completely remodel it. My friends and I all loved meeting Lea. Some other guests had ordered panini's that looked amazing, and they told us all the food is great, all made my Lea. We ended up stopping in the next morning before leaving to get breakfast sandwiches, which were great. She gave us all a tour of her cabins, which look amazing to stay in and had very cool outdoor areas to hang out in.

Overall, a really cool gift shop with delicious food, and run by of the friendliest people I've ever met. I'm seriously considering staying at the cabins in the future.

We were on the motorcycles yesterday and we passed this place I remembered coming by years ago and it was all boarded up. The best part of the almost 200 miles we did yesterday was stopping here to get a coffee and having the opportunity to meet and talk with Lea. There is so much history to this place and it was wonderful to have lea tell us stories about the place! The coffee was amazing and the blueberry scones ! Do yourself a favor and Check it out . There are even cabin rentals for a nice getaway. Next time you go by , just stop , you will be happy you did 😁

Lea and Wayne are the kindest people and have the most beautiful, special shop with delicious food. They personally put so much time and effort handcrafting thoughtful designs themselves for their store. Truly hardworking, passionate, and dedicated to the area. Everything in the store is hand made or locally made. I will never forget on a windy day, Lea kindly telling guests the risk of fire which meant the world to me. Thank you for everything, always :)

This place gets 4 stars just for the view. I merely stopped for a cold drink on a hot day. Another trip through there will require another stop to grab a sandwich or other offering.
But about that view--WOW.

Another stop, this time on a cold day for a cup of their freshly brewed-by-the-cup coffee and a quick snack. Delicious!

A must visit,

I brought my Mother and Melissa to the Wigwam Western Summit on Mother’s Day. Although we did not plan to visit, we just stumbled upon this wonder and glad we did.
Accommodating and warm hearted hostesses Leah and Julie welcomed us right in and offered us a beverage and to relax while we shopped around and took in the great open views. The sun was in that setting stage it was around 430 pm I had thought it was a regular gift shop and an outlook pull off for tourists. But it is much more than that there is a much more in-depth historic story behind The location and what new owner Leah has done to preserve and continue what is a great landmark.

You have to see it For yourself, lodging is available and don’t forget to ask about the chocolate or cheese fondue :-)

What an amazing place.

The pour over coffee is delicious!! The handmade treats are delicious, especially the lemon blueberry bread. Moist, sweet!

The view is one amazing part of this stop. Not to mention the great gifts AND the magic T-Shirts are a must grab! They have post cards and other local crafts, fudge, and so much more! They take any form of payment and if you’re near or driving by, please go see them!

This is a MUST visit spot! The owner was very helpful and attentive..They have VERY good cold brew and homemade (in the store) baked goods. The views are breath taking. Very happy I stopped and you should stop by too if you are in the area (definitely call ahead for the homemade cheese or chocolate offerings as they have built out door eating area overlooking the view).
