Only come here for brunch which is always delicious and quick. Most of the waitstaff are usually very pleasant and accommodating but this time one of them was exhibiting attitude (eyeroll) unnecessarily when we made quite simple requests. Otherwise their garden patio is lovely to enjoy your meal.

Cozy atmosphere and top notch food as always. Very busy, a well loved local gem!

The quality of freshness within the ingredients is outstanding. Please check this place out if you are nearby!

Excellent brunch and house roasted coffee. Big fan of their maple syrup 🤣

The best "full" veggie breakfast in the area!! Veggie sausage and potato pancake is awesome. So are the soups and fries! Will be going here frequently!

Love coming here, great ambiance and wonderful food and service, I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite or just grabbing coffee

Esselon is one of the busiest restaurants I've been to in Western MA. Almost every time I go there, it is busy. And yet they manage to keep the food delicious, their coffee game strong and their service calm and efficient. Everything I've tried here, from their Challah French Toast to their Bagel Platter featuring smoked salmon and red onions, is delicious. And, the one that kills it for many restaurants, they actually keep their toilets in a decent state.

Great cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee as well as breakfast and lunch food options. Located across the Street from the Norwottuck Rail Trail in Hadley, MA.

The outdoor seating area is beautiful and I did have a pleasant experience my first time there, however, this past weekend felt very chaotic, the food took easily 30 minutes to arrive and it was mostly cold and unappetizing (hard melted cheese on over cooked eggs that were cold, for one example).

There is no clear signage for how to navigate the lines, order, or how to get water. The music was very loud blasting some early 00s pop for some reason? (A la “boom boom boom boom I want you in my room” and lots of Britney’s greatest hits).

I imagine things run a lot smoother when it’s not COVID times, and I appreciate trying to make it happen, but unfortunately it was a very unpleasant visit.

This is a nice cafe. You can sit, do work, and have a cup of coffee or meet up up with a friend for lunch or dinner. The food is a little pricey but you also get really nice quality ingredients and decent portions. There's great vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There's WiFi, a community table, and good coffee. In the spring and summer the patio is open and so is the garden. They stay busy. Get the sunflower seed muffin. It's delicious!
