The Java Room is a great coffee shop that frequently features local musicians and singers. The drinks and desserts are tasty and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. There is also a wine bar, which is a great option when attending one of the open mic nights or featured artist gigs in the evenings.

Possibly the best barista coffee in the area.
During the day, there isn't much of a vibe and the seating area isn't too inviting. High ceilings and too many small metal tables too close together doesn't make it cosy or allow for private chat. The stools by the bar are in high demand. There isn't any background music so it's a bit monastic.
In the evenings, it's completely different. Live music, the bar opened and a bit of rearrangement of the furniture and the whole place is lifted. Try it.

Our favorite coffee spot in the area. They have often life music on weekends/evenings. Ver decent coffee too. the crowd there is a bit older than in your average coffee place.

Been there often and the food and cafes are good. The cleanliness needs attention, the lights over the service area and tables are full of dust and have been for a long time! Yuck, makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Having second thoughts about returning.

Great coffee and atmosphere. On the weekends there's usually live jazz. Food and snacks are pretty good. A little pricey, but the quality and environment are worth it

Curry salad is very good, ambiance is lovely, selection is very good; young girl at checkout/taking orders this mid-morning was not at all friendly or customer service oriented; she did not identify the orders that were set out mixed up two customers’ orders as a result, and then became irritated with the customers...also, she did not understand what a dry cappuccino is—I received a watery not at all frothy version instead—disappointing overall.

One of my co workers keeps dragging me here and I just am not a fan...no matter how hard I try.
I've had their quiche, which didn't have onions, thankfully. However, while I'm a bacon fan, there was so much that the flavor was overpowering. Their coffees are ok. Same goes for the cookies. Their slices of dessert are very expensive for pretty skimpy pieces. I ordered the chicken cesar salad most recently. It was a fairly small portion with pretty gross cuts of chicken. The lettuce was at least fresh, but it wasn't worth it for the price.
This place stays pretty busy and I'm not entirely sure why.

Everyone working here is really friendly and the coffee is amazing. Great vibes - we had someone playing piano for us. Definitely will be back!

This coffee shop has been around for ever, but I just finally had a chance to visit...now I am a regular!! Wonderful staff, all organized for social distancing...coffee and food is just perfect! Thank you!

The place is a very large and friendly coffee shop. small coffee shop vibe, but a large coffee shop area. There is a wine bar off to the side and live music playing on the weekend. The baristas were very cute and friendly.
