Very friendly owners & staff. Went to Charlemont to check out their lunch & got a 5" half of a fried shrimp po-boy ($10), muffaletta ($8), blt summer salad ($12), and cajun poutine ($12). So, on the higher end with a $50 lunch. Of those, the only thing that stood out was the poutine. My po-boy didn't have pickles and wasn't on homemade bread & the seasoning on the shrimp was pretty bland; the muffaletta was not on a sicilian sesame roll. The menu (& pricing) seemed like they'd have outstanding food, so it was disappointing. Also, would've been nice to know what to expect when we ordered, as I'm guessing they ran out of bread & decided to replace it with what we got. Overall a "meh." Hope they work out the kinks.

Food was absolutely delicious.. will definitely eat here again when I come back to Charlemont! If you like southern cooking I definitely suggest stopping in.. best Louisiana cooking north of the Mason-Dickson line!!!

So excited for the things to come to Wells Provisions! Family friendly ice cream window in the middle of Charlemont’s Main Street. It is apparent that every detail to their ice cream window was executed with the charm and history of Charlemont, MA in mind and bringing the community together. We will definitely be back regularly for ice cream given all of the extra add ons or “lagniappe” as they call it. The vanilla soft serve was rich with flavor and the ice cream sandwiches were homemade and were a kid favorite- not leftover bites were available.
We will be sure to be back in June to eat at their cafe and shop at the market. The owners are partnering up with the best MA has to offer to make this a place you do not want to miss! Be sure to ask, super friendly and their excitement about their new home is infectious!

I stopped by on Saturday to get an iced coffee. I didn’t realize, but I’d arrived before opening hours AND they were fixing an ice cream machine. In spite of all this, they were very friendly and got me a cold brew. It was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated the excellent customer service. I’ll be back!

Excellent coffee, perfect breakfast sandwich, amazing shrimp PoBoy, home baked cookies, Friday night fried chicken. Wells Provisions is a gem, don't miss it.

It is a perfect spot for visitors to the mohawk trail who want some healthier, homestyle yet sophisticated bites and drinks ( coffee menu and homemade ice cream) along with class to go along with a great atmosphere. From cheeses to bakery items to hot soups and sandwiches and breakfast menu, it is a bit of perfection fitting in perfectly with the magik of the rolling hills, mountains and white foams of the cold river.

Do yourself a favor and get food here! Everything we had was delicious across several meals (swordfish sandwich, gumbo, monte cristo sandwich, chai latte, and more).

I had one of the best lattes ever at Wells Provisions! It had a hint of maple syrup in it and was delicious. Can't wait to visit again when we are in the area!
