I usually don't like giving five stars, but I'm giving this place five stars.
I got the gumbo, I was to totally surprised to see gumbo in these neck of the woods, I had to add a little bit of salt but my god, it was awesome.
And what was even more awesome, was the fried meatloaf sandwich. It was a special, that was simply outstanding. Never had anything like it. It didn't taste like it was too fried either, it was just the perfect amount of wholesome goodness. Or, unwholesome goodness.
They have great wonderful bottled old school sodas and drinks. Extremely charming staff, and a cute environment in the cafe to boot.
They even had chicken adobo on the menu which is a Filipino dish, which is part of my nationality. Need to try this the next time, this is really surprising to see.
I recommend this place.

Unbelievable....absolutely delicious. Stopped in on a whim for caffeine expecting typical road side coffee and the coffee was above and beyond. I had a latte and it was smooth and very tasty. My husband and I ordered sandwiches which were out of this world. Try the cheese sandwich with collared greens (I forget the name of it). Wow!!! Melts in your mouth and full of flavor. They had tons of food to go, candies, snacks, drinks, you name it. All top quality. Excellent service too. Cannot wait to return!

Went to Wells for the 3rd time. On the first two visits had the bacon, egg, home fries and toast. It was delicious. Today had the omelette. It was delicious. For the cost at $12 I thought it a little expensive. If it had come with a few home fries and a piece of toast it would not have seemed so expensive. A free cup of coffee with an expensive breakfast would make the cost more enticing to return.

10/10 as an absolute espresso fanatic. This place lives up to the hype. Such cute speciality items to buy too!

Super cool place, extremely nice folks. Very clean store with many cool offerings, lots of foods you will not see elsewhere. Good coffee and a chill vibe. Worth a visit.

Incredible community vibe. Andouille sausage hash was fantastic.

Incredible hash with homemade sausage (love those crispy bits). Clearly cooked by a talented individual. Just the right amount of toasty rosemary, fresh herbs, and carmelized/blackened onions. No ketchup needed! The pulled pork po' boy was piping hot, juicy, and had a balanced smokiness. Bread would have been delicious on it's own. Slaw was crisp and tangy, a great contrast to the smoky pork. Chai is homemade and fantastic, we tried it with the rose cardamom syrup and oat milk. Took home a few frozen meals. Looking forward to the next time we pass through town!

The food was delicious, but the prices are extremely high for portion size. My partner had a lone chicken sandwich on a typical size brioche bun that was $14. I had a cold sandwich of the similar size for $9. The atmosphere is lovely though.

Had the best breakfast ever at Wells Provisions. Creative and tasty with healthy ingredients from local farmers. I highly recommend them for a change of pace from other places without having to drive to an urban area.

What a great place - excellent food, warm & friendly owners & staff. If headed along Rt. 2 it is a wonderful stop or destination. Interesting selection of wines and spirits too.
