I love Peet's Coffee, and I return because the coffee is incredible. But the staff has a habit of being either the sweetest people you've ever met, or just plain rude. It's a toss up!

VERY LONG WAIT TIME, and difficult to get seats, due to being at the center of Harvard Square. However, if you have 20 minutes ot kill to wait for a coffee, then it is well worth it.

Love the smell of coffee right off when you enter the coffee shop. Large choice of cakes and desserts available! Coffee is great and better than the one served at Starbucks

Very poor customer service. 3 points of friction listed below when buying just 1 coffee.
1. The staff can't list the blends and they don't list them behind the cashier
2. They took down the wrong size for my coffee.
3. They confused my "french press" with someone else's "french roast".

The cashier looked depressed and bored when I was talking to him. Plus, he charged me extra for the cream cheese but it was supposed to come for free with the bagel. I realized that after the payment. If you don't know how to smile, don't work in a café ! Find another job !

Out of all the Peet's Coffee places I've been to, the baristas here give the best customer service. Always smiling and working hard. The coffees I get from this place are consistently good!

The coffee is good enough to keep me coming back despite the incredibly annoying 1960s covers blaring out of mobile amps by the wretch of a guitarist-singer who plays all day in the square. I don't know what's wrong with the city of Cambridge. Can't they get rid of him? Does he pay rent? Does he have a city franchise? It's insupportable.
