Compliments for the service! We made a big mistake by ordering two medium size café latte gold, which as it turned out contained turmeric, honey and ginger. The froth was golden indeed, however the taste was a bit too exotic for us. When we took it back to the cashier we got two regular café latte free of charge which were delicious.

If you don't know Peet's, you don't know coffee. Peet's took a decidedly different path from Starbucks, although they are both West coast roasters of roughly the same vintage. Peet's focused on bean selection and small batch, controlled roastings and organic growth. Starbucks went right away for large volume and National/International presence. The biggest difference is the taste! (Peet's got it!)

I love Peets but limited seating and large crowds make this a good place to get coffee to go but not hang. It can quite crazy on the weekend but the drinks are yummy and always well made. Come here for an indulgence ---their lattes and mochas are delicious!

It's a chain cafe, but it's a good one. This one in Cambridge is where I think they shot the "Apples" scene in Good Will Hunting. So that's cool!

Peet's is generally quite good. I'm a little bias being that I'm from Berkeley (where it was founded), but they brew strong coffee at reasonable prices.

Enjoy!

This is a smaller coffee shop with limited room to sit inside to do work, unlike in some of the other bigger competitors, though they do have a few tables outside to work on. The customer service seems to be about average with very little active engagement. The biggest thing that stands out about this place is that it is ridiculously overpriced. Example: a large iced coffee is about five dollars and is the size of a medium in every other coffee shop with the same quality coffee. I guess my take is if you want to overspend coffee in a chain hipster like coffee shop I suggest this place. Ps they can put hearts in the foam of their lattes so I guess they also habe that going for them.

Great coffe, even if you are into expresso. The local is cozy and frequently inhabited by students on their laptops. It has public restrooms and the shop windows open to the sidewalk of a small park that in summer alocates a couple of tables al fresco. Immediate to Harvard Square, this cofre really rivals the second floor of the Harvard Sq. Starbucks for a nice coffe break.

Good Coffee and some basic food, mainly cake slices & scones. Service is good, Lines can get long. Seating is often full unless you are lucky or off hours which is not too often in Harvard Square. Only a block from the Redline MBTA station next to a park.

Great atmosphere for coffee or tea talk. Purchase of coffee bag not able to get in stores. I enjoyed it.

I remember peets being superior to Starbucks but must have been a bad night. Store wasn't particularly clean, my latte was Luke warm at best - just so so. Out of all the coffee you can get in Harvard Square peets is no longer at the top.
