Grabbed breakfast here on a Sunday morning and the food was excellent. I had the falafel sandwich with house tea and husband ordered the spinach omelet. Delicious!

Nice place to take a break. If the weather is good, sitting outside is really relaxed. Bananabread was 10/10, really good. Only the waiter was kind of slow, so if you sit down, plan some extra minutes. Price was okay (Smoothie and banana bread was 10$). Really good spot. Its close to the stressful Central Square but with a distance that is far enough to only observe and not feel the stress :D

Big fan of the outdoor seating. Great place to work or catch up with friends.

They have no AC and in a hot day the place was just full of fans. The server was new and in training but was friendly. The food was simple and just OK.

Food here is perennially great but the service is also consistently Extremely Slow, so it’s ideal if you’re here with friends to chat with over a couple of hours or on a date, but this is not the place to be for a quick meal. Been here like 50 times and most of the times I’ve had to go pay at the register since noone shows up for me to ask the check. They have a nice outdoor setting as well, and hookah for those who do it.

Amazingly relaxing place with a homey feel. Food is excellent with a lot of vegetarian options.

This was a good place. We tried the chicken hummus and it was really good. They also provided us with extra pita bread. The coffee was okayish. The only downside to this place is that the service is really slow. The atmosphere is really nice and chilled out. So I would recommend this place if you would like to chill and relax. The place also serves hookah.

When I received my bill, I noticed that they have included the tip as service charge 18% and 3$ service fee and I was one person.
The first time that I visited I didn’t notice it but this time I did.
It is very rude that they charge customers like this while I personally pay even more tips when I visit somewhere.
I won’t go there anymore and I believe that they should be more respectful to their customers.

This was our second visit to Andala Coffee House because we loved our first visit on our first day in Boston even though the service was a bit awkward. We thought it'd be a great way to end our time here on our last day in Boston. They were busy, it was just after midday on Friday. No worries; we had time before having to head to the airport. Well, we're sure they forgot us and our order! About 20 minutes after he took our order the server saw us and asked if were still waiting...and nothing happened. Generally patient, it was another 10'ish minutes later that I asked another person to check our order, and she came back to say it would be about 7 minutes. What had we ordered? A chicken shawarma sandwich (it's a toasted wrap)...general prep time? Yup...7'ish minutes! Did it taste as good as on our first visit? Neither of us really remembers because we had to wolf it down to rush back to the hotel and catch our ride to the airport! And NOT EVEN A THANK YOU for our patience and not losing it like many others would have! So, in a nutshell, if your time matters to you and you try Andala Coffee House, watch the clock, follow up sooner if your food doesn't show, and I suppose they prefer it if you behave like a jerk! Kindness and patience certainly aren't.
