So truthfully, the food here is really good. I've been a bunch of times and always appreciate what's served in front of me. Collectively, I find my issues revolving around the service and overall timeliness of the staff. They quite often take a long time to see to you and process what you're saying, and a few different times, I have gotten my food order wrong. That being said, I keep going back, partly for the food, partly for the outdoor seating and hookah but certainly not for the service...

I was looking for a coffee shop to get some work done, and this was a great choice. On a Sunday morning/afternoon, it was pretty busy, so I grabbed a seat at a counter and ordered a mocha. In addition to the floor that you enter on, there's a downstairs too with more tables for small groups that would be great for eating. he coffee was fine, though I wasn't particularly blown away. The mocha flavor was not very strong and it wasn't very hot/cooled very quickly. That being said, it's more than adequate as a spot for casual work, brunch, or people watching.
It's an Arabic coffee shop, and the décor definitely celebrates that and emits a "busy" vibe. I thought it was quite interesting that they played Latin music pretty much exclusively until 12 PM, when they switched to English-language mainstream pop music as it got busier. The servers were pleasant enough and didn't rush me out, which was much appreciated.

Cute spot with a cozy outdoor space. The omelettes are delish, including the home fries which were very flavorful. Coffee was also good. Service is a bit slow so this spot is good if you’re looking to hang out for a while.

I could never recommend Andala more highly. As a Harvard grad student in 09' this was the late night study and hookah spot for myself and Iraqi Assyrian best friend. I was so happy it was still there and as wonderful. Fantastic Arabic and Turkish coffee, great meat and spinach pies and Jerusalem sandwich. Very reasonable hookah. No place like home. Andala is a warm blanket of Arabic love.

Such a quaint café with surprisingly a great amount of sitting available. Stumbled upon this gem by sheer luck and I’m glad I did. I needed a wake me up so order the Arabic coffee which is so aromatic and strongly amazing!! 10/10 recommended and I’m definitely a return customer InshAllah.
Kudos to Andala staff for the Amazing customer service!

My new favorite cafe place for studying now! Ordered Moroccan mint tea and a coconut dessert. I just like the atmosphere inside. Everyone is friendly and the interior design is so interesting! Love the WiFi and people there who study or play chess :)))) Fun place!

Friendly yet inattentive service. Self-service (as in get up and go get it yourself) on the water, which is a tad annoying because they still expect full tips. Food was unremarkable. Falafel overcooked. Hummus bland. Pita dry, almost stale. They overcharged my side order of two eggs, which shows as $2.95 on the menu; however, they rang it up as two separate $1.95 sides. Wasn’t worth saying anything but it was totally necessary in order to avoid leaving hungry. Likelihood of return visit: low.

I came here around 8pm to do some late night work and was able to find seating without any issue. The Chai Latte and Chicken Shawarma Plate were both delicious. Would definitely recommend! The service was super friendly as well!

I went here with a few friends and everyone was impressed by how cozy the place was, it gave at home vibes. The food was adorable and fit for the portion. The guy Michael was super sweet and helpful!!
Update: I went back again today and the had three servers on but they literally came to check on use every 15+ mins. I had to get up several times to get napkins and water, two servers were on their phones.
The food is great though but there service is hit or miss.

Owned by a Palestinian, Andala coffee serves long hours. Breakfast, cafe, food served. Located in Cambridge. Mint tea and pistachio cake is really yummy.
