I'm really picky about my coffee and have been making rounds in Boston to find the best cafes. Gracenote is really small space-wise (not much seating), but the coffee is excellent, and the customer service was great. I had a nitro cold brew and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

No seating here !. But my friend liked his macchiato. It comes in a cute cup. The featured tea is complex and good but know that they will steep it like 5 minutes. They will also grind beans for you to take home from those bags on the wall. My friend got one, $18 .

One of the best coffee shops in Boston, they roast in house and pull great espresso shots.
Only con is that parking in the area is limited. If you’re in the area it’s 100% worth a try.

Gracenote is a beacon of light amidst a sea of bad coffee. I was in Boston on a business trip, and I was having the hardest time finding a decent coffee shop. After a few days I finally googled "best pour overs in Boston," and found Gracenote. What a gift! The coffee was freshly roasted and brewed perfectly. The baristas were incredibly talented! After finding this spot I came back everyday until I flew out. Over those days I had the espresso, drip coffee, cold brew, and pour over, all of which were incredible. Gracenote is a true craft coffee shop, and you should go there.

Good things come in small packages. This tiny little cafe is out here slinging some of the best beans in Boston! Offering espresso-based drinks as well as Chemex (I love my pour overs), as well as freshly roasted bags. Just don't expect to be able to sit and enjoy it here. You'll be enjoying it, though.

One of, if not the best Boston coffee spot. Standing room only, small bites available.

This place is a specialty coffee centric cafe serving some light pastries and baked goods. Between the attention to detail taken to the aesthetics and the atmosphere that’s set, I recommend that you visit this place at least once especially if you like trying single source coffees (they have a variety of at least 3 on rotation at any given time between drop coffee or espresso). It would be 5 stars if there was a place to actually sit and enjoy the coffee or pastries. They only have standing room counters - granted they are very beautiful counters. They have some select products like Dick Taylor craft chocolates for sale along with coffee prep products like pour over coffee makers etc.
The staff (mostly) verge on the very nice and patient. They are all very knowledgeable about their beans and are full of recommendations if you ask.

One of the best espresso bar experiences I’ve ever had. The espresso wasn’t bitter or weak, perfectly pulled with an excellent microfoam and mouthfeel. Alternative milks include oat milk and almond milk. There are also grab and go pastries that look delish!

We shared cortados and an espresso. They were all delicious and incredibly well-made. The space is small but intimate. It’s a very “Italian espresso bar” style that encourages savoring a delightful drink en route to the rest of your day rather than lingering infinitely while tuning out the world.

Take a break to enjoy what this place offers. It’s so worth it.

Wonderful drinks, fresh roasted coffee bags to purchase, and kind folks working here. Thank you for the lovely experience and for showing me some new bands to listen to!

Front-runner for best coffee in Boston for sure. Stopped in today and had a single origin espresso and a cortado. Both drinks were perfect. Friendly baristas. Plenty of room to stand and enjoy a drink. They're serious about their coffee. A+
