PJs is good, but not particularly great. We had a good time here, and didn't have much to complain about. The drinks and food were good, the employees were nice and it was clean inside. Overall a good experience, and we'd come here again if we were looking for mediocre, but safe experience.

Great coffee, friendly people. The beignets are really good.

New Orleans style coffee with hot beignets - what’s not to love!

My 1st visit to PJ's. The shop is relaxing and the service excellent. got Chai Tea Latte and Beignets. Very, very good 👍. Well worth this morning traffic 😀. Much check it out. 👍 👍

Great coffee and environment but very understaffed on weekends. Waited over 45 minutes for coffee today. If you hire another barista or two to help on weekends, we’ll be regulars again!

I've been wanting to try this place for some time. I like supporting small coffee shops. Called to ask if they have almond milk and if they are delivering through postmates. The woman who answered the phone didn't speak or understand English. When I asked to speak with someone who did like a manager, she said "nobody here." I'm disappointed you lost a potential customer.

Their food was fine, but there is better tasting coffee in the very immediate vicinity. Very clearly a chain, which is fine, but I was expecting a bit more with the hype. Cappuccino was watery and the machine they use is low-quality, resulting in a poor drink. Cheaper than Starbucks, though!

I love this place. They have THE best regular buttery croissants I have ever had. Sometimes I get two. The baristas are also very kind.

Great experience! I recently moved to Virginia from New Orleans, and am excited that PJ’s is open in the DMV now. The coffee is as delicious as I remember, and the hospitality makes it feel just like home.

I’m a regular customer and I like the friendly staff and the regular coffee and the Granita and the Nitro coffee and the New Orleans feel. I go to PJ’s or other local coffee shops, and not Starbucks.
However, over the last few weeks I have been lured in multiple times by signs advertising ‘Pumpkin Swirl Bread’. There are four signs visible from the sidewalk, including a big placard sign put out on the walk every day. There are at least four big signs inside as well advertising ‘Pumpkin Swirl Bread’. Guess what? There has NEVER been Pumpkin Swirl Bread. Not cool. Bait and switch. This needs to be fixed asap before giving PJ’s a better rating.
